A soul that sinneth must die!

Have realised some prefer saying what the congregation wants to hear - in order to glue them to their seats of membership

Isn't that part of the Gospel message?
That if one does not trust the Lord with their life, even to desiring to turn away from sin, that they cannot be saved.

It is the Lord that changes people's hearts so each life may not look the same in maturity. But true repentance is a sincere desire, to submit to the Lord, when the Holy Spirit shows one something they need to change,.
Doesn't this tie in with your other thread about being forgiven for forgotten or unintentional sin, in some way?

Yea. thats what the scripture teaches. thing is how it is delivered to people. some may find it insulting. it is probably one of the reasons why the WBC guys dont attract any real attention: they tell you how condemned you already are - being a lost sinner. and they bitterly frown at any wrongdoing. not saying this is the truth they teach

Why would you ask should we teach this? It is straight from the bible. Ezekiel 18:20
God's word should be taught. Do you want to pick and choose which scriptures you want to hear? Are you familiar with 2Timothy4:3-4?
2 Timothy 4:3-4New American Standard Bible (NASB)

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.

You know, some do not wanna lose members, and would for this reason kind of give a watered down teaching, just like the verses you listed.

It is actually a command: but how many are willing to tell the billionaires in the congregation: you must make a U-turn

.
A sin unto death of a believer who has eternal life with God because of Jesus only has a cessation of their physical life.

MOSES
Numbers 20:12 . . . Because ye believed me not.
Deuteronomy 32:50 Die in the mount whither thou goest up.
Deuteronomy 32:51 Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel.
Notice that Moses sin was unbelief. He was killed for it just as those destroyed in Jude :5 that believed not.

ANANIAS, with SAPPHIRA lied unto God
Act 5:1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
Act 5:2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it,
They both died as the result.

Only the sin of not wanting the forgiveness of sins anymore can cause a (former) believer to be lost.
