A voice for truth.

It's not a bad idea to be prepared. Kind of like the Y2K thing
The question is, be prepared for what and for how long?

I remember during the cold war and I'm sure there are some yet today, people built bunkers to hopefully withstand a nuclear war. The problem that I always envisioned was, okay, so here we are in this bunker. The war has lasted for four years and in that time the atmosphere has been destroyed with radiation, the land is not suitable for growing crops, and the water is undrinkable. This situation will last for decades or possibly even centuries. We've only enough food and water for ourselves to last a few months. Where does that leave us?

When study about end times and the reign of the son of perdition it will last around 3 1/2 years and then will Christ return and make an end to all transgressions. Now when will this happen, no one knows, but if one stocks up on unperishable items it would have to at least last for that amount of time. It's better to try and be prepared if one can do so, but yet we will have to trust in Christ for all our needs at that time as He will provide.

I would expect a 3-1/2 year supply of non-perishable foods adequate for survival in the absence of perishable goods would be quite a warehouse full for a family of four.

I agree. All I can say it will be a time of a greater faith in trusting in Christ for our needs. Kind of like being feed manna and quail in the desert.

Or more so if you add you don't have land with well water ,your own pump and don't need electric to run it and sewage waste? Septic tanks are disappearing here on the beach areas .

Pollution problem .

I report theft of water ,we have arrested thieves and with smart meter even easier to detect
