God told Abraham in Gen 22:

2He said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”
Abraham took some servants and Isaac and headed for Moriah.

4 On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from afar. 5 Then Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; I and the boy will go over there and worship [G7812] and come again to you.”
This was the first appearance of G7812 in the Bible. As far as the young men were concerned, they understood Abraham's words simply and literally. But in Abraham's head, what did he mean by that? Could Isaac really come back to the young men? Whatever happened next, Abraham saw it as a proper worship of God by him and the boy.

6And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son. And he took in his hand the fire and the knife. So they went both of them together. 7And Isaac said to his father Abraham, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” He said, “Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?” 8Abraham said, “God will provide for himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.” So they went both of them together.
God would provide the lamb in place of Isaac. That's exactly what transpired next:

9When they came to the place of which God had told him, Abraham built the altar there and laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. 10Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son.
At the last second:

11But the angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” 12He said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.”
Abraham passed the test.

13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns.
Heb 11:

17By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was in the act of offering up his only son, 18of whom it was said, “Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.” 19He considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back.
Even if Abraham had gone ahead and slaughtered his son, he believed that God could resurrect him. In either case, Abraham had great faith in God. Abraham and Isaac had G7812-worshipped the Lord.

Without obedience to His voice there is no worship.

Worshiping in Spirit and truth is from those who walk in the truth; walk in the obedience of faith.

Who walk according to the Spirit.

Obedience and submission are synonymous with worship (obeisance)

Abraham was the greatest example of faith as he remained obedient to God's command concerning his son Issac that even if he would had sacrificed Isaac he remained obedient to God having greater faith.

Lesson is that all of us need a greater faith no matter what we have to go through, we trust God in all things as He is always with us, even if we can not see it at times.

Deu 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Heb 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Abraham was a prophet, i.e. an inspired man (Gen 20:7) As such, he had a depth
of spiritual comprehension that many of us will never experience.

It's commonly assumed that Abraham's compliance was servile obedience. But not
so. According to Heb 11:17-19 Abraham expected to get Isaac back because God
had promised to multiply Abraham thru him (Gen 17:19, Gen 21:12) which was a
promise that made Abraham very famous for believing. (Gen 15:3-6, Rom 4:3)
