Do you think it is possible to affect those around us by speaking to them in the spirit? Say for instance you're in a restaurant and the waitress looks sad. You decide to speak encouragement into her life, but through the spirit...can it affect her in a real way, or is this fantasy?

I think it is real, and that our words carry power. What do you think?
 
Yes, our words carry power and can be very uplifting to others that need to hear something good.

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
