Alien existance? Yeah i know but hear me out.

If they are out there than we will never see nor interact with them in any way shape or form until well after we are free of sin, we would only corrupt them if we met.

That said I find the idea they exist to be ludicrous, if God was gonna make more life he'd just put it in an entirely different universe where his creations couldn't mess with each other

So what if we discovered bacteria cells on Mars or something, we would not corrupt them.

If there is, they are most certainly demonic. I just watched this movie on the rapture, and in it, Satan used aliens to trick the non-believers into thinking it was a "cleansing." A little far fetched but it could happen.....

So if we found some sort of mold, bacteria, or even plants we have never seen before on some other planet, you would consider it demonic?

No. I would consider it impossible. If life can arise from non life this God is out of a job.

The bible is completely silent on this matter, therefore, I would say it is impossible to judge. IMO, there is nothing in Christianity that precludes the existence of other civilizations in the universe. God could easily have created other life forms, whether or not they are like us. However,
i think the most honest answer is "I don't know." Because we really don't.

Of course....but besides that do you think there is another planet similar to ours?

Yes there is and the bible indicates so.

God is on trial and the Earth is the "theater" which the controversy between Satan and Jesus was and is being played out.

The bible says.......... 1 Corinthians 4:9 (New International Version) For it seems to me that God has put us apostles on display at the end of the procession, like men condemned to die in the arena. We have been made a spectacle to the whole universe, to angels as well as to men.

Notice.. to the WHOLE UNIVERSE.

The entire universe is watching as we each play a part in the controversy between Christ and Satan. As the controversy ends, every person will fully understand the principles of both kingdoms and will have chosen to follow either Christ or Satan.

Those who have chosen to ally with sin and Satan will be destroyed with him, and God's people will be taken to the eternal of their heavenly home. Read Revelations 21.

An angel does not dwell here on earth in this realm, and is not subject to the same physical laws as us. If that's not alien then I am unclear on the definition of the word alien.

well of course not, they don't have a soul and they don't have free will (we won't find any btw). I'm referring to intelligent life, the life God calls his children. And as for less intelligent creatures... what is he just toying around with them out there, we'll never see them so why are they even there, they'd only cause confusion and havok if secular society discovered them. Although I do have to admit there may be a possibility that God just did it for kicks, he did some pretty hilarious stuff making this earth so I wouldn't put it past him...

Hmmm?

Why couldn't fallen angels disguise themselves to deceive us? Where are they now? Satan is here with us. Why are his angels not here to wreak havoc?

They are here, I've seen and dealt with demonic possession and afflictions, Demons don't disguise as humans because in a spiritual state they can get around better and do a whole lot more damage without people even finding out, plus they have got the Satanists who worship them already, the demons could just tell those guys to do physical tasks while the demons concentrated on spiritual attack.

I think he was refering to other physical creatures... not angels

Explain why there were dinosaures then?

we'll never see them so why are they even there,

According to what?

they'd only cause confusion and havok if secular society discovered them.

So if we found bacteria cells on some distant planet all hell would break loose?

Although I do have to admit there may be a possibility that God just did it for kicks, he did some pretty hilarious stuff making this earth so I wouldn't put it past him...

Im just wondering, but what was funny?

In any event what does it matter to us on this old earth? They aliens whomever they may be cant save us anyway from sin.

... you can't be serious, the same reason there are bears, giraffes and sloths etc...

Aforementioned point about corruption and sin etc, that and its really really hard for a species to break the solar system barrier so even if they were to exist they likely would be in a similar resource predicament to us.

If you think that confusion and all hell breaking loose are the same thing... enough said. I was simply saying that it would cause alot of upheaval and many would leave the faith and believe in evolution if we found other life, I wouldn't be one of them... but many would.

If you don't find emperor penguins funny than you and I have nothing to say! lol jokes. You learn about some of the seriously freaky and weird creations (especially in the deep ocean) that God made and you quickly see the guy has a sense of humor.

I think it would be prudent at this time for me to re-iterate my point that I don't think its impossible for there to be alien life, I just think its very very very very very unlikely and if they do exist, it is even less likely they will have any interaction with us or bearing on our day to day lives. So unlikely that I pretty much disregard the possibility.

i dont think that our god who is eternal and so powerful would only create us. maybe he created other intelligent being with souls far away in our universe, or maybe he created a ton of other universes with their own laws and their own beings, i just dont feel we are his only creation knowing how great he is.

I am. Bears and others animals are here for us to feed on, and just for anything that we want of them really. Why were the dinosaures here, there were no humans at that time?

We will advance eventually, its just a matter of time.

I am not seeing how finding cells would cause people to loose faith.

Oh I see now lol I guess they are kind of funny.

Only time will tell.

maybe not all hell but i would not be a Christian anymore.

Saying all hell would break loose was just a figuer of speech. Why wouldnt you be a christian though?

If life could arise from non living matter then God is out of a job.

What if God created it?

Also there are just a number of crazy things that can happen. What if in the futer NASA is transfereing some plants from Earth to Mars, and somehow the shuttle shuts off and crashes into one of Mar's moons, and slowly the plants aboard the crashed shuttle thrive on that moon. I know that situation is impossible but you get the idea.

What? yes they were, they were made shortly before us along with all the other animals

We will advance eventually, its just a matter of time.

That's a very optimistic view, I'm not saying we can't... I'm saying we probably won't.

I am not seeing how finding cells would cause people to loose faith.

Maybe not you or me, but a large group of people would see it as the theory of evolution and development of life on other planets being proved (even though it wouldn't have been). You can see how it would look kinda bad considering a large majority of Christians discredit the idea of foreign life

Only time will tell.

indeed
