You set me on the highest place
for You I desire to please
love for You pours from my heart
when I am on my knees
You give me power in my dependence
strength in my weakness
there is nothing I can do
but all things are possible
when my life is lived for You
the way You have shown me
my striving must stop
Holy Spirit leads me low
so I may reach the top.
The way up is down
and lowly
pride is far from You
You embrace the humble
for they are like You
There is no longer
worldly desires
no wants I have to please
Your will is all that is important
as precious as can be
Let me rest in the life
the life You live through me,
let Your life spread its light
for all the world to see.
