All that the father gives me SHALL come to me.........John 6:37

This verse involves the doctrine of election: there are some whom the father gave to Christ. It involves the doctrine of effectual calling: those who are given must and shall come. They WILL be brought out of darkness and into God's marvelous light when called.
Observe the power in the words of Christ. They SHALL come. He does not say they may come if they will, or that they have power to come. No, he says they SHALL come. And these are the one given to Christ by God the father.

The Lord by his spirit calls men to come. And this he does not by any violation of the free agency of man, but by the power of his amazing grace.

Give all the Glory, honor and praise to God, who we know as as Jesus Christ the Lord and Saviour.

God's grace in Christ is wondrous indeed.

Ephesians 2.8-9

Blessings.
