Hello fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
Just thought I'd introduce myself...my name is Woody.
I'm a recovering car enthusiast, and have decided it's time to put my energy in God's Word. After all where your treasure is, there will your heart be also...Lu 12:34.
So I figured I'd Google
"Christian Forums" to get away from all my car forums...
And here I am.
I didn't know there were so many Christian forums!
Anyway, I don't really have a religion to say, more of a relationship with Christ. I'm part of Calvary Chapel, and we are non-denomination.
Some background before I came to Calvary Chapel, I was Saved at a Baptist Church when I was about 10yrs. Then while growing up fell away into the worldly way. In 1984 I got Saved again as a Pentecostal and yep you guest it, I fell away again. This time I really went far and became a JW for about 10yrs, then I got dis-fellowshiped because I divorced my wife...my second wife at that.
Up to speed got remarried about 11yrs ago and came home to the Father about 6 years ago and haven't looked back.
However, I could feel my interest of cars were starting to pull me away from my Spiritual Walk and I'm glad that my wife urged me to pray on it, and the Great I Am answered with the scripture above!
I look forward to reading the threads.
