Don't be distracted by others sin
Never forget how sinful you can be
There is never a reason to feel superior
Maybe you didn't know you were sinning
How easily you forget.
As if it was nothing.
Yet you can run the highlight reel of how nasty others were to you.
You prefer the victim story.
It's more palatable than the other one.
You thought you were better than them.
You aren't.

Maybe we naturally like neurotics. Ones who are preoccupied with their own shortcomings. In that way, their radar isn't on us. So we might be likely to trust them.

Or many people simply do not believe that they have been forgiven and keep going over again and again over what has been forgiven, there guilty conscience will not let them accept that God is greater than them and their little sin so they will not thank God for his forgiveness.
