I am aware of that. buy joy? joy as im so happy with a smile to take a life? I think you should consider the images vet see when we ponder our time "there" there is NOTHING joyous for those that have done the dance in hell. my time wasn't bad, and sure it wasn't bad for all the vets in hell all the time. but JOY. define this joy?

im challenging you on this for reasons I have no desire to post. I refuse to be judged by people here who haven't been there and wouldn't understand the changes it makes to a man. vets may talk to me and we know but I know men who have pictures of their kills and have bragged about it. is that joy to you?

you assume that its that guy, it might be a child you know and half to kill. I know men whom have taken lives lawfully and have said they think about doing that from time to time and was it the right thing to do. he still serves and is my platoon. consider your heart, its a joy, a happy moment to take a life? is that hate worth your soul?

I'm going to upset Jason without even wanting to even wanting nut here goes. Like it or not, admit it or not, we are at war and our refusal to awaken from our perpetually blissful slumber is doing, not a single bit of good! War is not our exclusive right to declare and when the attack on the Twin Towers of the 90s, war was declared and the longer we refuse to realize we are at war, the worse it is to be.

For us old vets, war is a terrible thing and we do not need any more of it's nightmares but the problem is, this war is in God's plan.

if I posted dead bodies of men that I have slain and talked joyfully as I choked them out by my hand, I think I would be banned. I never said that we shouldn't defend ourselves. I was asking him joy as he would relish it like a psychopath?

On that I'll only say that Lewis has, likely, never killed. I know the ones I turned off are still in my head and I really wish they would go away but God has every one of us in training and this is tougher than 8weeks of Basic Training.

I believe that any man that has been there never wishes to return. Were it not for the stupid kid gunners, Wobbly One kids, Butter Bars and the undereducated Crew Chiefs I was finished with just two combat Chevrons, you're right.

That's a great idea! I can incorporate it into one of my Bible studies- sort of what does the Bible define as being a martyr vs what the world misrepresents.
