I also believe that Revelation chapter 18 refers to US.

Revelation 18:8 “Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her; death, mourning and famine. She will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.”

According to many scientists, west coast of America will encounter 9.0 magnitudes Richter scale earthquake in the coming twenty years.

Apart from that, it was mentioned in the movie <2012> that Yellow Stone is a super volcano, if it erupted a third to two third of the sky of the US will cover by volcanic ash. And within one day, Russia and China will use nuclear missile to attack the US.

Istanbul Turkey also sets on 7 hills and at one time was called Constantinople which was the capitol of the eastern Roman empire. It is my belief that this will be the "ten horned" beast.
 
In Rev 12:3 the other sign John saw was a great red dragon meaning Satan. Remember, this is a vision and a sign as Satan has not yet been thrown out of heaven. The description of the dragon being great and red depicts its nature and character as being fierce and murderous, John 8:44. This red dragon is depicted as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. This is also confirmed in Rev 17 as mystery Babylon is described. The seven heads and ten horns refer to the original ten kingdoms of which three were subdued by the little horn of Daniel 7:8. The last kingdom which stands greater than all the others is that of a revived Roman Empire that takes control over all the ten nations who then implements a deceiving peace treaty to a world that is in great distress. Below is that of the seven kingdoms described as four beasts in Daniel 7:1-8 and the three kingdoms that were subdued by the little horn, which is the Roman Empire.

The three kingdoms that were subdued by the little horn of Daniel 7:24 are the Heruli, Vandals, and Ostrogoths who were eliminated by the year 538 AD under the leadership of the Eastern Roman Emperor Justinian whose deadly wound came in 1798.

Seven remaining nations that still exist today:
Babylonian Empire:
(Iraq) The lion represents the winged lions that guarded the royal places of Babylon.

Medo – Persian Empire:
(Iran) The ribs of the bear are part of the consuming greed that devours the first empire.

Grecian Empire:
(Greece, Turkey, Syria, Egypt) Four wings of the leopard described the swiftness of this empire that ran from 334-331BC. It wrestled world dominion from Medo-Persia. After the death of Alexander the Great the kingdom was divided into four minor kingdoms that continued as prominent factors in world politics until the Roman Empire gathered it back as one kingdom.

Roman Empire: (little horn, Daniel 8:9-14, 23-27)
Iron represents the stronghold this nation had. Daniel chapter 2 mentions the iron element of this empire that it to will be divided and broken as God will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed.

The crowns on its heads show that this dragon claims royal authority against the true King who is God of all creation as he prepares to take his seat above all that which is Gods Kingdom claiming he is God as he prepares to deceive the world through that of an existing Roman Empire, Daniel 8:9-12; Isaiah 14:12-15.

The beast rises up out of the sea, Rev 13, as the sea here is symbolic of people and nations as in a sea of humanity, Daniel Chapter 7:1-8; Revelation 17:15. The seven heads are that of the Babylonian Empire, Medo/Persian Empire, Grecian Empire and Roman Empire. The ten horns represent the nations the Roman Empire scattered to when the deadly wound was put upon them, Daniel 7:23-25.

These ten nations were the Anglo-Saxons (English), the Franks (French), Suevi (Portuguese), Visigoths (Spanish), Burgundians (Swiss), Alemanni (Germans), Lombards (Italians), Ostrogoths, Heruli, and the Vandals in northern Africa. The last three being Ostrogoths, Heruli, and the Vandals had already been destroyed by the Roman Empire before their deadly wound came in 1798.

The beast out of the earth, Rev 13:11-18, is the revived Roman Empire (mystery Babylon) which causes man to take its mark, Daniel 7:24, 25 and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, He will think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

You are right about God's prophecies. many of them are duel prophecies. Much of Revelation will be understood while they are going through it, but here is how gullible men are that do not want to believe God: Do you remember all the lies Obama and Hillary told during their administration...and even now with the FBI, how they keep lying continually, even when people could see the Truth (Benghazi was cause by an anti Muslim film, etc.) They instead believed the Lying. So it will be in those days....people will see it, but call it something else.....just to discredit God and make themselves more important. But from Revelation 14:6 ff. The everlasting gospel has to do with the Judgment of God (Rev. 14:6) and the judgement is described in the rest of Revelation. So revelation 14:6 is the beginning of judgment, 14:6 on is not necessarily in exact order, but sometimes goes back and forth in describing events.

You make a good many excellent points and I would be very hard put in a debate to argue against anything you have typed here. I would be lying to take issue with it.

The problems with the Book or Revelation are astonishing. People tend not to read the Old Testament (the Bible Jesus taught from) and they do not and are not able to understand it because that style of writing style is the style of writing is meant to conceal from those that have not the eyes to see nor ears to hear.

Before I yielded to the Holy most of the scriptures were gibberish with only the book of John making sense to me, I believe this is the case with all lost people. That and the truth that people think I'm weird because I have always looked back at the history of things to see what was done and did it succeed or fail.

Other people, and especially younger than 45 are so set on they idea that they are so much better than the generations before them. They, absolutely cannot see what we see because they are blinded to the truth and do not hear when we try to point the truth out to them, leaving us to pray for them. These same people are most bvof the membership inside the Church Building and it is so darn hard to see the truth about them because saved or not, we are all different.

I believe that is why the first twelve or thirteen verses of Matthew 7 are structured in the manor they are.

I pray God blesses you and yours as He has me and mine. Amen.

If all thar is future then where are the 13 apostles ?
The prophets? Jerusalem with Rome slew them.modern isreal didnt. The first exile is when Philistia rejoiced and later waa judged.
 
Nothing there to even sup port a modern philistine in the Levant .they dont have much on them.

Once God's mighty wrath goes out into the world in the end of days there will be no nation or continent that will escape it as Gods judgement is poured out into the world.

exactly the mansions and the big fancy cars will burn just like the chevy and the ford the average 3 beedroom home.. those left behind will face burning then judgement of God
 
Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

So, does it really matter what happens in Jerusalem or America before the Lord returns as even Jerusalem will be destroyed and nothing is going to prevent that. We need to be out preaching the Gospel of grace and not be worrying about those things that have to come before Christ returns.

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
You might ask where is here, go back to vs. 6-11.

Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand.

The Holy place is our faith in Christ that when we see the abomination that Daniel spoke of as being the son of perdition take its seat in the refurbished Dome of the Rock that sits on part of the original temple mount we are to look up for our redemption is near, Luke 21:28.

1 Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking.
2 I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles.
3 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.
4 They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”
5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water.
6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.
7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.
11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives
12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.

16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position.
18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

:thumbsup :amen nothing we can do as all has been set from the beginning by God and finalized in the end by God. Just watch and pray and keep yourself spotless unto the Lord.

that is it in a nutshell i have no problem with prophecy ..to many are trying to narrow the scope of time down foe the return of Christ . when in fact as you stated he did say watch and pray
 
The only reason we need to teach on end time events is to let others know what to watch for even though it is pretty much outlined in Matthew 24 and prophesied in many places in the OT, but theories cloud many things that are already given. To each be with their own understanding.
 
THE sign of the 2nd coming, is, "homosexuality" rampant, in all forms, in all places.
And what makes this interesting regarding the USA, is that we are the #1 exporter of the idea of Homosexuality as not only normal but good.
We do it via our government, our movies, our tv shows, our classrooms, and from many pulpits.
Thanks to the USA, many other countries have now adopted gay couple adoption and gay marriage in the last decade.
Much of this can be laid at the feet of Barak Obama, who is the most Pro-Gay Lifestyle (former) President and earnest supporter of Deviant sexual lifestyle we've ever seen, and because of his 8 years, you now see Transgender as the latest crop of anti-natural sexuality.
There will be more.
