Angle: Muslim law taking hold in parts of US

I get your point - what Im saying is that false notions and ideas of Sharia law are first shown to the public - then they are told that Sharia law is coming for YOU now too.

The other thing that I have observed that you brought up (this is just my personal observation) is that the most zealous anti-Islamic people are all christians - at least all the ones I have met are (I may be wrong) - so you sem to say christians are safe from this because Jesus protects them, yet the only ones I see waving their hands in the air, running around in circles, and screaming that the end is near - Sharia law id coming - the Islamization of America is near - are christians.

My experience has been that most of those in an uproar are not Christians, but secular Americans. Maybe it's a location thing? What part of the country are you in? We as Christians aren't protected from "Sharia Law" in the sense that it won't hurt us or kill us (hypothetically speaking) because the Word says we will be persecuted. Our promise comes from "Be of good courage, I have overcome the world." Do you see the difference?

I agree that Sharia Law will NEVER happen in the US. Those with the most power won't allow it. The INCORPORATION. Advertisers would be unable to market their sex any more. Strip Clubs? Gone. Las Vegas? Burned down. Models and Actors? Out of business. Politicians and escorts? A thing of the past.

Money makes the world go 'round. Money is the reason Sharia won't come to the US. It's not going to be about the Constitutional rights of the people.

I agree with what you're saying. "For God did not give us a spirit of FEAR..." Fear is a form of manipulation and control. This is Satan's tool. He targets the secular world and Christians who don't know the Word. Mass panic and hysteria are his tools to sow seeds of discord.

Most of those Americans who panic over "sharia law coming to America" don't have an Mujahid Abdullah around to explain the law. They see the hate of Muslims in the East and they reciprocate. They remember 9/11 and they don't want it to happen again. I'm from DC. I remember seeing the ashes raining from the sky on 9/11. I remember the black smoke. remember the tears of my classmates wondering about their parents who worked at the pentagon. I remember hearing the testimony's at church of those who lived through the experiences. I remember driving by the pentagon and seeing the damage caused. When the Muslim snipers terrorized the DC metro area. I My school went on lock down because one of the victims was killed down the street. I remember the sirens and the helicopters. I remember the blue tarps covering the gas stations so people could pump gas in peace. There is a real threat there. I don't deny it. I understand why people over react and panic. I have a merciful and loving God, even though I've lived through such things and have the right to be fearful and angry, I am not and it's solely because of the love and goodness of the Lord.

It s good that you see the mirage of impending sharia domminace for what it is - and I agree - if there is one thing that will stop Sharia law, it wont be christianity vs. islam - but money, drugs, sex and corruption that keep sharia law at bay.

the problem I see though is the perpetuation of falsehood which enables the fear for those with a less clear view of the world as yourself - why keep them in fear using falsehood like the images you posted or the pics of the kid lewis posted - before I thought you were an innocent fear induced zombie like many others Ive met - but I see that you understand the impotent threat sharia law poses on the US, yet you keep the fear alive?

And as far as perspective of who the 'Islamaphobes" are - your right, my perspective is probably skewed a bit - I live in CO, in the shadow of Focus on the Family (used to work there actually, fired because Im Muslim) - nearly everyone I meet is evangelical because thats just the demographic here - and you being DC, there are probaly many more secular people there.

I'm not trying to keep fear alive. You mocked the reason Americans are so afraid of Sharia Law and I was showing you why. When your loved ones leave the house to do something simple like pump gas, do you ever wonder if they will return or be killed? Because that is something I have lived through. We were taught to zig zag around if we had to go outside so the Snipers couldn't kill us as easily. I agree with you to a certain extent. I agree that Sharia will never happen, but I understand why people are so afraid. The threat behind the pictures of "Behead those who insult Islam" are very real. The situation with the man who lost his life for his Muhammad cartoon that was very real. The threat against America is very real. Those same Muslims in the Europe who want to institute Sharia Law there, want to do it in America. It's not entirely a falsehood. The same spirit that drives Westboro Baptist church to protest gays with "God hates f**s" is the same spirit that drives those same Muslims to become suicide bombers and terrorists and to hold the belief that those who insult Islam should be killed. Your a Muslim, but your not the same kind of Muslim as they are. If you tried to educate those Muslims like you educate us those same Muslims would probably want to murder you. The hatred is the problem. It's very real. Americans become fearful and reciprocate with hatred. It's a never ending cycle. I don't expect any less from either side. They are bound by hatred. I have been taught to 'forgive my enemies, do good to those who curse me, and bless those who persecute me.' I am in a totally different world. If Sharia Law ever comes to this country it will be by war and the sword. I think this, hypothetical scenario, is what causes so many to create an uproar. The mere 'if' sends people into a tizzy.

I used those photos of that kid years back like around 5 or 6 years ago on another site, and was thought to have been fake or staged by some, and real to others. I think that the Muslims are saying that it is staged. Why would Muslims stage something like this.

Boy getting his are run over for stealing bread, is it real or fake, you make the call.
snopes.com: Islamic Justice -- Boy Punished for Stealing Bread

Did you read the link you provided? It says why they staged it. It wasn't to convince people that this is the punishment for stealing. It was an act. It's like when people let elephants step on their heads, lie on a bed of nails or walk on hot coals. All these things look dangerous but, if they're done correctly, they don't cause any serious injury. In fact, they don't even have to hurt. That's the kind of stunt this is. It was someone else (who I'm sure wasn't a Muslim) who took this out of context and claimed that the child was being punished.

Btw. Thanks for providing that link. The link in the previous post only said that it was staged. It didn't say why it was staged, but by the context it implied that it was a staged punishment. Now I know that it was just an act done for entertainment.
