I get your point - what Im saying is that false notions and ideas of Sharia law are first shown to the public - then they are told that Sharia law is coming for YOU now too.
The other thing that I have observed that you brought up (this is just my personal observation) is that the most zealous anti-Islamic people are all christians - at least all the ones I have met are (I may be wrong) - so you sem to say christians are safe from this because Jesus protects them, yet the only ones I see waving their hands in the air, running around in circles, and screaming that the end is near - Sharia law id coming - the Islamization of America is near - are christians.
My experience has been that most of those in an uproar are not Christians, but secular Americans. Maybe it's a location thing? What part of the country are you in? We as Christians aren't protected from "Sharia Law" in the sense that it won't hurt us or kill us (hypothetically speaking) because the Word says we will be persecuted. Our promise comes from "Be of good courage, I have overcome the world." Do you see the difference?
I agree that Sharia Law will NEVER happen in the US. Those with the most power won't allow it. The INCORPORATION. Advertisers would be unable to market their sex any more. Strip Clubs? Gone. Las Vegas? Burned down. Models and Actors? Out of business. Politicians and escorts? A thing of the past.
Money makes the world go 'round. Money is the reason Sharia won't come to the US. It's not going to be about the Constitutional rights of the people.
I agree with what you're saying. "For God did not give us a spirit of FEAR..." Fear is a form of manipulation and control. This is Satan's tool. He targets the secular world and Christians who don't know the Word. Mass panic and hysteria are his tools to sow seeds of discord.
Most of those Americans who panic over "sharia law coming to America" don't have an Mujahid Abdullah around to explain the law. They see the hate of Muslims in the East and they reciprocate. They remember 9/11 and they don't want it to happen again. I'm from DC. I remember seeing the ashes raining from the sky on 9/11. I remember the black smoke. remember the tears of my classmates wondering about their parents who worked at the pentagon. I remember hearing the testimony's at church of those who lived through the experiences. I remember driving by the pentagon and seeing the damage caused. When the Muslim snipers terrorized the DC metro area. I My school went on lock down because one of the victims was killed down the street. I remember the sirens and the helicopters. I remember the blue tarps covering the gas stations so people could pump gas in peace. There is a real threat there. I don't deny it. I understand why people over react and panic. I have a merciful and loving God, even though I've lived through such things and have the right to be fearful and angry, I am not and it's solely because of the love and goodness of the Lord.
