I would agree that our citizenship changes but the prior knowledge and experiences we had before becoming Christains follow us and God wants us to use this knowledge and experinece for His glory. Before we may have been using it for our own gain or for sinful purposes, but now we are expected to take that knowledge and do something fruitful with it. I don`t know if you are suggesting that a Jew should throw out their ancestry once they follow Christ? But if that is the case, I think you are mistaken because as gentiles we are more grafted into their ancestory than vice versa.

But isn't that which we are grafted into, even as Jewish believers in Christ will be grafted into, be the True Olive tree, which is Christ...nothing to do with ones former ancestory! Lets remember, that the Lord *divorced* Israel of old, that He might be married to another? And that other be the bride of christ?

Retaining the Knowledge of ones past experiences, and clinging to ones ancestory is comparing apples to oranges. As Jesus said,..." who is my mother and brother and sister? They that do the will of My father, they are my mother,sister,brother!" A clear distinction wouldn't you agree?

I don`t believe God divorced Israel. He says He hates divorce so why would He do that which He hates?
One`s ancestory and past go hand in hand. How can we tell Jews they must stop being a Jews when they realize Jesus is the Messiah God promised them? The truth is gentiles are grafted into the Jewish faith, Jewish God, and Jewish Messiah. Jews are not grafted into the pagen gentile faith, gods, and messiahs. But anyway, I don`t want to debate this because I think you and me most likely agree on the most significant parts of our faith which is Jesus is our Lord and Savior and through Him all people, Jews and Gentiles alike, can have eternal life!!

But there are many many other places to find real Jewish Christians even rabbis who have come to accept Jesus as their Messiah! God is definitely not through with His beloved people!!! He is still knocking at the hearts of the Jews and Jews are opening the doors of their hearts all over the world!

They seem to be debating the same old stuff that we do. Except theres more law keepers and Hebrew roots fan boys.......not surprisingly.

Not me, the OT verifies the NT, one cannot be with out the other. And I have equal respect for them both.

i find that the jew that gets saved is one that can see the ot in a better way. as they also have the cultural background behind the hebrew words that we often refer to and study.
they dont have it all, but they have a view that many dont.
