Anyong!

Anyong! That's basically hello in Korean. My name is Jin, and I'm new to the Christian faith.

A little about myself. I come from a very progressive and diverse family. Both my older sister and I were fathered by the same sperm donor who is our close family friend. Both my mothers are very loving strong women. My birth mother is Korean and my other mother is of Russian descent.

Through my dad I have various half brothers and sisters. To be honest I hate saying the word "half" when referring to my various siblings. It just doesn't feel right to me for some reason.

Anyway I was introduced to Christianity by close friends who attend a Korean Baptist Church near my home. I was invited to go and felt happy singing and praying with people who I'm not only close friends with, but share a similar heritage with.
It felt magical just being there. I have never felt anything like this before. I gave myself to Christ in that church in both English and Korean. Doing everything I can to set myself right in this world. Christianity has made me into a better person, and I love it!

Welcome Brother Jin to our Christian fellowship, and yours is a beautiful testimony. I do hope you feel blessed here also, and I look forward to your posts. It's a pleasure to have you with us in Jesus' name.
:wave2

Thanks Eugene! I'm happy to be here. It looks like a fun place to meet fellow Christians and also improve my knowledge of my faith.

Hello my Christian Brother welcome to the fantastic family of God, and welcome to our fantastic forum family! We do have great fellowship here as we discuss doctrine, and other spiritual matters. It will be interesting to hear about your new Salvation and how you are doing in your new walk with Jesus. Don't be afraid about asking questions about Christianity or the workings of the Forum. We are here to help and fellowship with you.

Welcome Jin, we are glad that you could join us.
This is a wonderful place to fellowship and learn from other Christians.

Praise the Lord. :pray :woot3

Hello and welcome! The grace (favor) of our Lord Jesus Christ be upon you!

I thought it was anya-hasay-oh (I don't know how it's spelled). Moh heh yoh (that should be, what are you doing?).
I learned how to play ping pong better from a pair of South Koreans back in the late 90s.

Have you been to Pastor Cho's church yet?
