Are Christians To Necessarily Vote?

I am very thankful God placed me in the USA. I should be the best citizen i can be. I feel it is a God given responsibility to vote. Other folks dont need to agree with me.
Not voting is to me like being a thief using the blessing obtained by others. To each his own.

Paul used his citizenship as a Roman.. Did Paul error should he have claimed his citizenship in Heaven. The OT is full of politics.

Has God commanded you to make decisions based upon how you "feel," as you said you have above?

Lol.

The NT has no demonstration of Believers being involved in politics. Do you live by the Old Testament Covenant, or by the New Covenant? Do you deny what God taught through The Apostle Paul about members of God's Army not becoming involved in civilian affairs? Maybe you are not in God's Army. If you are, you are going to get into trouble with God for arguing with Him. Lol.

JR: Imagine Paul saying: If only the folks back home backed Uncle Nero for Governor, then we'd all have peace, freedom and democracy ... :)

clearly to follow Christ you should continue to whine whimper and complain while refusing even the slight fom of responsibility I can make a decision here; You're off your nut.

Are you on your nut when you vote into office Godless leaders?

Lol.

Go ahead and cite Scripture which identifies voting as "responsible" for a Believer to do. If you cannot, then get upset a little bit more.

JR:

The excuse: Oh, it's just that I believed the candidate's lies; don't blame me! doesn't wash as an excuse ...

I already alluded to to Paul wrt what a slave should do.

Go ahead and cite Scripture which identifies voting as "irresponsible" for a Believer to do.

It says: 'The powers that be are ordained of God'; not, 'the powers that be are ordained of the people'.

Rom 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
I thank God for the Whole of the Scriptures

Please upgrade your English reading skills.

The title of this thread said, "Necessarily," not "Because of responsibility." Lol.

Did Apostle Paul say that Believers in God's Army are not to entangle themselves in civilian matters? Yes? No? Is voting a civilian matter? Do you need more help with the English language and how to understand metaphor as well as vocabulary?

Praise God for the entirety of our Christian Family on the Internet who can educate those unable to learn by personally reading for themselves the Text of your Word. Halleleujah. Thank you Father!

Are you a preacher who wont ,or cant, do what he demands of his audience? Come on now put up or shut up.

Which politicians do ppl really trust? if the answer is, 'None, really'; then: who is kidding whom?

Have you thanked God for Apostle Paul stating that God's servants are not to become entangled in civilian matters?

According to the example of Jesus, is secular governance a civilian matter? Able to answer directly, or not ... ?

No scripture speaks for or against the practice of voting. When this occurs it means there is no position, because believe it or not, not everything is black and white, yes or no. Thus it doesn't really have any adverse effect on your faith. Open and shut case...

I noticed that when I tried to do with without the edited text people didn't take notice. So I figured I'd help you see this...
