Are There Any Twins or Multiples in Your Family?

None in mine yet but I was just curious to know about everybody else on here.

I have two brothers, four sisters, one step brother and four step sisters. My mother remarried after my father passed away.

Five girls and three boys in my family. I'm the third and my two older sisters are twins, but they do not look alike. Some of their personalities are the same, but yet opposite of each other. When I was doing my ancestry I saw many twins on both sides of my mom and dad.

No, but I think a couple of coworkers of mine are identical twins?? Cuz I can never tell which is which, and they have different nametags.... For the longest time I just thought it was one person who went by two names.

I wonder if twins run in somebody's family if they are more likely to have twins then.

Some people believe genetics play a big role. I have a feeling fertility treatments play a huge role in it, though. There may have been multiples in our family sonewhere, but if there are, I never met them.

I had an aunt and uncle who were twins. As I am from a family of five kids, I expected twins to show up in our offspring. One sister passed before child bearing age, one sister had three boys, my brother never married, my baby sister had no children, I had one son. I have often wondered if the twins were in me if had been able to have more, or in my brother or the other two sisters. None of my nephew has children . My son has a daughter, who has a son and a daughter, and a son, who has no children yet. Where are twins? I thought there was a genetic component to twins.

I show my response but not in the right place. Did you not see it at all. I truly do not know how that happened. I'm going to blame it on my tablet. It has been doing whatever it wanted all day. Twice it changed the language on me. Once to Portuguese, and once to Mandarin!! Go figure!!
