Aw, that makes me love my Jesus more. Thank you Jason :)

i should do a thread on those equines and how they are. the foal wouldnt leave its mother and if you read that verse right the mother is taken with the foal if i recall correctly.

we have a delination point other wise we could have christian muslims and christian jews etc.

We do have Christian Jews. They are called Christian Zionists and they call themself as such.

"I'm not trying to convert the Jewish people to the Christian faith... In fact, trying to convert Jews is a waste of time. Jews already have a covenant with God and that has never been replaced by Christianity."

- John Hagee (False teacher & Christian Zionist)

For the record I am a real Christian Jew. A Jew of the flesh who believes Christ is my Saviour.

a bit out of date, he is now teaching that isreal isnt the promised land that god restores to isreal.

He's a Christian that says Jews don't need Christ for Salvation.

End of Story. He's a Christian Zionist and a false teacher.

A great fallacy I find in the modern church is like unto liberalism in that the liberals believe we should all be willing to embrace any extreme EXCEPT conservative viewpoints. The church today has a great enmity for "law keepers". I suggest you re-read Romans 10.

Let not him who does despise him who does not. And let not him who does not judge him who does. Who are you to judge another man's servant? To his own master he stands or falls.

Christians believe we are "free" to do whatever we will as long as we operate under the greatest two commands, to love the LORD your God with all of your heart soul and might, and to love one another as yourself.

Christians accept those who eat pork and who keep the sunday holy.. to those who divorce and remarry and to those who consume blood and to a whole host of other things formerly condemnable.

Yet one thing seems to escape such Christians concerning the Law of Liberty. The liberty to keep the seventh day Sabbath Holy, or to adhere to a kosher diet. The choice to abstain from blood and so fourth. Why do you judge another for the thing which he allows? Doesn't he bow the knee and confess with the tongue to the same God? even Jesus Christ?

As for easter and christmas, those ARE pagan holidays, like it or not. easter was constantines replacement for Passover --- Christ was crucified during the feast of unlevened bread. Why mingle this with the festival for the fertility goddess ishtar? A little leaven leaveneth an whole lump.

We are told to remember Christ not for his birth, but for his death and resurrection. Christmas is another pagan holiday integrated into Christendom. There is no way he was possibly born in december, let alone the 25th. As for nativity scenes --idolatry.

Rather than go off any more, I'm not sure what you would classify me but this attitude of superiority to sects of Christianity is not consistent with the New Testament. Mormons and Witnesses have more legitimate and critical points of error for you to talk about than these. I'm not sure all of the doctrines concerning adventists, but the keeping of the Sabbath day is a commendable thing --not something you should look down the nose at.

personally i dont listen to him but there was this rather murdering man of the christians that fits your noahide description quite well.

paul the apostle! before he repented.

Doc, when you refer to zionism... How do you define it? The man-made movement? ...Or are you saying God is done with historical Israel? That he won't stand against the nations who come against Israel in the great and terrible day? In other words, is it secular Zionism you're rejecting or the doctrine of divine Zionism?

It has just been changed so everyone can put on display if they are a Christian or not. Go to forum actions at the top. Choose general setting and then scroll down to Christian yes or no.

Both.

God was done with historical Isreal in the days of Joshua.

21:43 And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he swear to give
unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.

21:44 And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he
swear unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their
enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into
their hand.

21:45 There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

And what did the House of Isreal do once God had given them EVERYTHING He had promised them?

They messed up as usual!

And then He gave them His Son Jesus Christ as a final promise not to them but to EVERYONE. And they killed Him!

Divine Zionism? <Lolz...thats a good one Ashua.

3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there
is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

3:29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs
according to the promise.

Indeed he was the Pharisee of Pharisees.

That's why God spun him around and used him to spread and uphold the real truth to the churches.

Praise the Lord and His wisdom. :pray

We don't have any enmity for law keepers Ashua. You can do what you like. If you have a list of all 6 hundred and whatever laws of the OT pinned to you're fridge then go for it. But remember if you break one you break them all. :chin

What we have enmity to is law keepers telling those who don't think they are BOUND by the law that they are WRONG. That is what we don't like.

Everyone who has sinned needs the atonement of the Messiah Jesus for their Salvation.

<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:WordDocument> <w:View>Normal</w:View> <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom> <w:DoNotOptimizeForBrowser/> </w:WordDocument> </xml><![endif]-->I think the critical error of the Jews came when they demanded to have a King over them and rejected the System that God had established in the Promised land. God said to Samuel.

1 Samuel 8
4 Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah, 5 and said to him, “Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.â€
6 But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.†So Samuel prayed to the LORD. 7 And the LORD said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them. 8 According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt, even to this day—with which they have forsaken Me and served other gods—so they are doing to you also.

What a tragic error, They lived in a land of milk and honey without a repressive government lording it over them. But they wanted to be like other nations with all the pomp and vain pride of worldly power. They rejected God on that day to their great loss.
:shame

I severely disagree with the notion that God has cast away Israel. The prophets have always stated Israel will be God's people forever "throughout all of your generations."

As for Law keeping, I'll admit that I do not. But I believe there is great blessing for doing so. Law does not save. The atonement of Christ saves. There is no "evil" found in the workings of the law. The Law is spiritual and good converting the soul. IT has it's place but it's place isn't salvation.
