I don't care much for the video, but when John mentioned baptizing with fire he was refering to judgement (our God is a consuming fire - Hebrews 12:29), not some hokey manifestation. Mentioning the baptism of fire was a call to repentance (in light of the coming judgement) because all our works will be tried by fire and whether we do good or bad deeds determines if they will be wood, hay, and stuble or gold, silver, and precious stones. John said to the Pharisees almost immediately after his anouncement of the baptism of fire by Christ that, "the axe is already laid to the root", meaning judgement had already started. John also asked them, "You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?" (Luke 3:7).
"For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?" (1 Peter 4:17).
