I must say that this really rather freaks me out. Although considering the fact that we're never promised tomorrow anyway, I guess it wouldn't do to get paranoid about it, but still. :eek2(Just for the record though I would never leave guns out just lying around and I would make sure that my child was properly trained before I let him or her near one. I'm not much of a gun person myself though.)

This is tragic, however the parents must share a portion of the blame for leaving firearms unattended. The United States like their guns; don't get me wrong, I see why - I have been shooting before, and it's exhilarating.

The lesson to take away from this is as follows: Always ensure firearms are securely stored and are not loaded with live ammunition. Sometimes these incidents can be avoided with proper etiquette, however sadly many incidents occur annually.

training is what is needed respect proper use of a firearm i remember years ago some young boys laid in wait outside a school in Jonesboro, Arkansas with guns shot a killed students.. it sure has seemed to spread

Guns are like wallets, mobile and any other valuble.
They are either in ones hand, safe in a secure pocket or locked away.
Ownership of firearms is one of the many things to discuss while courting. If a concenus cannot be reached it is a black mark against marrying that person.
