fake fourth dimension salute.
Actually, it's a way of saying hello.
I just looked it up.

What does Namaste mean?

What does namaste mean?

In Nepal, namaste is one of the most polite and kindest ways to greet someone. A polite and elegant greeting. In fact, the meaning of the word namaste says a lot about Nepalese culture. The term comes from ancient Sanskrit and means I bow to the divinity within you .

Namaste is a greeting to a person and an act of worship to the God that is in one.
It is blasphemous as there is only one God who does not reside in us.

they trick people into believing that you dont need to be holy but "fake-spiritual".
Yes. Some are like this.
You've been here a long time and I believe God is in your heart.

Do you mean that it's like Taoism?
Instead of the Spirit dwelling in us?

No, in Hinduism everything is God, so one can worship the God that is in you.
In greeting another person one is saluting the person but also worshipping the god.

I recommend reading, Death of a Guru by Rabi Maharaj.

OK. It sounds like Taoism.
God is IN everything...different than how we understand this.

Hey All,
So when someone says "namaste," are they greeting you, the god (or God the Holy Spirit if you are a believer)within you, or both?
As believers, we have the Holy Spirit within us as our guide. And Paul tells us:

1 Corinthians 16:20 All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.
2 Corinthians 13:12 Greet one another with an holy kiss.
1 Thessalonians 5:26 Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.

Does anybody practice this? Is this a liberal or Catholic Church practice? Just curious because I have never done this. A handshake, or maybe a quick hug if I have not seen the person in a while, is as far as I go.
Keep walking everybody. May God bless,
Taz

But it's picking up again.
Old habits die hard...
