My 4 year old has to have a hernia operation. I guess next time I should move the couch to get the toy behind it?... (kidding). I hear it is one of the most common surgeries in children but as with everything, I take it to the lord in prayer, so I thought Id ask all the wonderful people here to say a prayer as well.

Thanks!

Amen brother and I am so happy to pray for a successful operation. My son had the same somewhere around 6-8 months old and was home jumping in his crib soon after; kids are tough. Parents normally need the most prayer in these circumstances, though I'm with you in taking everything to God.

Blessings in Christ Jesus.

Your short person is in my prayers, Vaccine .

And yes, you definitely should be the one to move the couch next time!

Kids typically bounce back quickly after surgery, so be prepared.

Eugene Thank you, it's reassuring to know your son went through it OK. Yeah, the parents need prayers too! My wife was weak in the knees when she saw it Sunday night and until we saw the doctors Monday.

AirDancer Thank you too! She is the kind that would start jumping on the bed right after. We're going to have to make her slow down until after it's all over.

reba Thank you!

Me too, and Lexy and Jake, you'll be in our prayers.

Just to follow up, everything is fine, she's right back to running, jumping, and playing. While waiting before the operation she was drawing pictures and giving them to any of the "doctors" that came in.

We had to be there @6 am and before rushing out the house I guzzled a bottle of water. My daughter said, "Daddy likes to drink a lot!" I'm glad she didn't repeat that to anybody.

Thanks for the wonderful report Brother Vaccine, and it's so good to see you back. God bless you in Jesus' name. :)

LOL, they are so innocent and honest.

Praise the Lord for His blessings on her and your family.

Wonderful news, Vaccine! Our Lord is merciful and most loving!

So you like to drink a lot, eh? I didn't know this about you :rofl2
