Each person is different... we all get white hair, if we get it at all, at different ages..

some get it young and rapidly, like early 20s. I have a friend...she started as a (natural) red head. She started getting some grays in High School. By the time she graduated college, she was dyeing her hair every 3-4 weeks to cover all the gray...it kinda took over. An older gentleman I knew started graying in high school, but it took over 10 years for him to go fully gray. My dad is nearly 60 and has relatively little gray hair. My mother is the same age and has been covering gray for over 20 years.

I think its mostly genetics.

yeah, I don't see why 99% of women get rid of the gray, sometimes for decades. Seems like a real pain to me, not to mention all the chemicals...I can't imagine they're good for you.
