I think one of the reasons why atheists find religion (belief in a God/god) disgusting is religious war.

He was clear when he made his comment about religion, the atheist member told me.

If find the violence of Islam also disgusting. You need to explain to your atheist friend that Christians are on the receiving end of that violence. Not the other way around.

It's funny, I find that atheists don't know very much about God's ways. They seem very lazy to me of just plain indifferent. They refuse to do any research on the attributes of God, or study anything about God. IMO they are afraid that they will change their minds and believe in God if they spend time researching Him.

bias. some do have a bias, others because as you say, or they know the truth and are made at god.
 
I'm talking with someone like that right now.

I say religion isn't the cause of war, rather happens to make a convenient tool for humans to use however for their not-so-holy ambitions. Blame the weilder, not the tool. If religions never existed, they'd use the next best thing.

He doesnt care at all. All he sees is a world messed up by religion

Afraid? I dont think so....just that he had not had time and probably doesnt care.

what saith the bible about that all men are without excuse, next, he isn't an atheist but an agnostic. does he know that god exists? if so then he cant why? because he would be a diety himself. all knowing that is.

check history the last one or two thousand years. check history the last 100 years. (even the last 50 years)

more people have been killed by 'christendom' (churches using the name of Christ) than by .... well, many more than is reported in the 'news'.... many tens of thousands , hundreds of thousands more than by communists/hitler/stalin/etc....

"with excuse", but not with Yhvh's Purpose or approval.

I guess as you said they made there comment on religion, but i also guess they still wont admit intelligent design. They might lose there Job as a scientist because they know intelligent design is truth.

The last person (atheist) told me intelligent design is nonsense.

He made a statement however that we cant prove the existence of God...and I think he also added he cant disprove He exists.
 
I dont really have a clue. It seems to be religion even before the birth of science. (Not saying science has not had its contribution).

Romans 1:20

I think all atheist have at one time in their life considered God to be real. I believe the Holy Spirit gives the same opportunity to everyone to be saved. It's not like some just get it or understand it and some don't.

I actually believe it is like that.

2 Corinthians 4
3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.


I believe their are individuals specifically created for destruction.

Romans 9
21 Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?
22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,
23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,
24 even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?



Just my take on the scriptures.

lol. weeeeeeeeeeee. the boy on the bottom is the son of the mma gym owner. both kids are church attendees and I don't know if they are saved but likely they are. they were supposed to be doing something like this. the flip thing that the older gentle man.(aged over 90). but rather they goofed off and this was taken without their knowledge. I worked the same technique. but my partner was over 250lbs

we all know what is right and wrong and have a sense of justice. whenever anyone says why is their so much evil in the world. they must believe that some universal idea of what is good is to be.
 
So what could be wrong with those atheists who had considered God to be real or who consider HIM to be real and yet....they have remained unchanged about GOD, and keep saying bad about Christianity or even publicly saying: there is no GOD? Do they have problem with the common phrase, '...believe by faith'
