The more I think about this I realize it's one of the things I like about Facebook. Since everyone uses their own name (most everyone anyway) you know who you are talking to and, maybe more importantly, you know THEY know who YOU are. It's a little harder to be nasty and insulting while hiding behind the keyboard when you know the person you are talking to knows who you are in real life.
