The more I think about this I realize it's one of the things I like about Facebook. Since everyone uses their own name (most everyone anyway) you know who you are talking to and, maybe more importantly, you know THEY know who YOU are. It's a little harder to be nasty and insulting while hiding behind the keyboard when you know the person you are talking to knows who you are in real life.

:rofl2I love it! Oh come on now. You're just keeping your good looks hidden because you are a humble man. Shrek? He's good looking, everyone loves Shrek.
 
What can you see as an avatar for yourself that closely resembles who you are?I will have to think about that one :chin

Also many employers use Facebook when hiring.

There is a lot of wisdom in that statement. That is another good reason for our faces in our avatars....Thanks.
 
I have a couple of good pictures of me from work but I would not even know how to post them as my avatar.I do not have those pictures on my computer.
