hehehe, i'm feeling quite random. And me and my friend were having an argument about this.

Let's see what happens...

I usually say Ay-men, except when I sing the Doxology. :) That last part just doesn't sound right unless you say Ah-men.

The Lord bless you.

I hate to hear the Ahhhh-men type, sound's liberal to me...hehehe.

I give a hearty AAY--Men whenever needed or just comes out when i get excited.

And when i really like to make a point preaching it sounds more like H'Amen, I guess it's a southern style thing.

Hear it here >>> http://www.inthestreets.org/Preachin/To ... n/amen.mp3

Ive always said ahh-men, which is not the norm for here in the south. I've had little kids correct me; they are brutaly honest and outspoken!
I just say ..."ok then, we'll say 'A'-men."
I realize how close this thing could be to a full blown salvation issue :biggrin ;-)

In Hebrew/Yiddish, it's AW-main.
Latin: Ahh-men
Polish: AH-men
It and Sp: Ah-men
Book of Common Prayer English: Ah-men
Americans: Ay-men.
