Growth Babylon Tower

A man is conquering the word. He builds schools and hospitals, brings electricity and gas into houses, he re-landscapes and irrigates deserts, travels into the space, explores the Sun system and galaxies.

A man is no longer afraid of the plague, a man starting to believe he can succeed ON HIS OWN.

You will hear about many glorious achievements from TV and publicity. With no name of the God on their lips. Is not this another Babylon Tower?

So interesting that you'd bring this up, I have thought the same. When NASA's man walked on the moon I could not beleive that God did not swat him right off. They say that this is the age of grace, well I guess they're right. :confused

What about the Internet? Is that not a resurrection of the Tower of Babylon? On facebook you can connect with anyone in the world and you can translate into any language almost immediately.

Your right Sandy, I sometimes wonder about the satellite's (sp) if God disliked the tower, why not those?

Seems the purpose of the tower of Babylon was to get to God mans way.... The Cross has given us grace and asked of us to take the Gospel to the world.... Algore did not create the internet. We can and should use it for His Glory...

Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. the internet is part of that world...

You are absolutely right, :goodpost I hadn't thought of it that way. :wall This is a whole different dispensaton. He said, "go into the world" so he does! :yes He uses man's machines to accomplish His will. :sohappy Great thought Reba, :amen you are very smart, compared to you I'm a :dunce

Because Christians are involved in these achievements, is not God glorified in them?

Real Christians (as apposed to the money grabbers) got all hyped up, up set over the TV ... The antennas were labled 'devils tails' Christians did not have enough faith in Him to grab hold and use the tools provided, to put on our sandals so to speak. The ones from my world thought only of escape via rapture.... We also allowed the school system to go to hell.

The most Christian thing on TV was Davey and Goliath, wonderful kids show....... We sure could have used more of that kind of thing....

Rom_8:28 And we know that all things ( TV internet cars phones printing press) work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Thinking of what Luther and company did with the printing press....

I thought they had communion in moon! I have seen various documentaries on this. How NASA forced them not to broadcast the prayer in radio. so they switched off the communication and did a prayer and took communion.

i sent my telly to the stars years ago.. one night when watching a comedian that played on a show called Taxi came on stage and started talking about Jesus Christ the audience went ballistic cat calls booing hissing swearing and other unmentionables put a real bad taste in my mouth. As time goes by these events will seem tame to the things I've seen coming in dreams but that's for a different time and thread.. :agreed
