Back button not working on this forum...

Hi, I hope this is the right place for this...I'm not able to use the back button on this forum at all. Does anyone else have this issue? I have Vista...is that the problem? It seems to be at the root of all of my computer related problems. But I heavily rely on my back button when I'm navigating the internet, so any insight would be much appreciated :)

It happens when using IE but works fine with Firefox.
Unfortunately the owner of the site hasn't found the reason as yet.

Easy answer, I'm surprised nobody else pointed it out. Google Ads screw up many websites by forcing your browser to constantly load, reload, reload, and reload even more ads on to the page. You can see this if you click on the tiny down arrow next to the "forward" button in IE. Screen capture below. I suggest using firefox with the AdBlock plugin to prevent access to Google Ads.

By the way, Google has a history of anti-Christian policies. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they are targeting sites like this one to increase the level of malfunctions, but in fairness I've seen this problem on many websites that use Adwords and whatever else they're foisting on people nowadays.

It is not working, you have to press it 4 times on Vista for it to go back. Extremely tedious and idous. The annoying thing is it stops me from just posting lots of post on this forum, if it wasn't for that I'd have well over 100 posts. The back button slows the sight down. It's probalby a bug.

The ad on the top might be the problem, so you may want to look into that.

Don't be decieved, Josh

The common denominator here seems to be Internet Explorer and/or Vista. The solution is to use Firefox. It's a safer browser security wise and is much more easily customized. Haven't had a problem with back button.

I use firefox and an adblocking program...

Firefox is much more efficient than IExplorer.

I love Firefox. The only problem with it is that it isn't really compatible with my college's emailing system. For that reason I use IE....all you have to do is click the back button 4 times on this site and it will work, no biggie for me :)

Yeah I would think it might have something to do with the ads. The ad below the header and above the board index bar is displaying The webpage cannot be found error in ie.
