Bad cooks (women)

Being a bad cook nowadays looks bad on a girls resume, lol. Especially with the internet and sites like Allrecipes.com. A lot of women work to help with bills in today's world, it's no big deal to help her in the kitchen. Women work hard around the house and appreciate the help. Beside, it's fun to help her and cook.

Actually, being a good cook (male or female) looks good on a resume.

With so many people not really cooking anymore, the ones that actually do and are good at it are special indeed.

I first taught myself to cook by baking a cake.

Then I made a mexican casarole.

With success, I realized I could cook if I wanted to.

Like anything, if we desire to do it, we can make it happen.

Perfect!!!

Cooking is a life skill that everyone needs, not just women. But, I guess we do live in a somewhat stereotype household. Steve works long hours and often doesn't come home at all. I take care of the kids and do the main cooking/cleaning/home stuff. When Steve is at home (which is really only on the weekends), I want him to be able to relax, not do any housework or chores...although he will still throw a load of laundry in (because really, where is there never any laundry to do.) However, part of "taking care of the kids" is raising the little darlings to be fully functioning capable adults, so now a lot of the housecleaning is on them...and it's split 50/50 between my son and daughter. Both are good cooks and both know how to do laundry, vacuum, dust, clean a bathroom, make a bed, etc. My daughter does all these jobs beautifully, but complains that she has to do them. My son does the jobs with a good and cheerful attitude, but really isn't that great at getting things actually clean...however, he is a really good cook!!! His specialty is Sole... he fries it and it is the best doggone fish that anyone could possibly imagine!
Well. I'm not surprised you have wonderful children on such areas. Train up a child in the way he should go....(you know the rest):) I see a small Dora in all of them:):)
