I'm impressed. I didn't think any here would consider the battle of Hamongog pointing to the west.

For the sake of those who might misunderstand you whirlwind, I don't think you mean Christ's enemies of Ezek.38 includes America, but the nations that come up against America.

I too believe that the Gog and Magog army coming out of the "north quarters" with Gomer (ex-Soviet satellites?), Persia (Iran), Libya, Ethiopia (likely Sudan which used to be part of ancient Ethiopia), house of Togarmah (Turkey) joined with them is about attack on America. Radical Islam is joined with Russia today. Russia is who supports the military of Syria, Iran, and now, more radical nations in our own hemisphere like Venezula, Cuba, and not as widely known yet, leaders in Mexico. Russia has been building up their Bear bomber bases near Alaska, and doing more military exercises close to Alaska.

I also see this same type of army coming out of the north towards Jerusalem (Armageddon), which is why Russia's alliance with Islam against the state of Israel.

I also see the fall of the Berlin Wall not being the end of the Communist's strategy against the West, but a deception against the West, to make us think we've defeated Communism (see the ex-KGB Golitsyn's book New Lies For Old). Since the wall fell, the Communists have been allowed to freely infiltrate the West, especially western Europe. It's the old Art of War strategy that before you can feign weakness to fool your enemy, you must first be in a superior strike power position. Russia revealed some of that by their military going into Georgia lately, to remove our threat of adding Georgia to NATO. They have also been threatening war with us if we build the missle defense shield system against Iran, while they are busy supporting Iran with making nuclear weapons. They show they have the 'threat' advantage, with our leaders tucking heads and running. And with this present administration bowing the knee to the leaders of Saudi Arabia and Iran, that can make our enemies feel like it's a good time to take control.
