Do you seek the gifts of the Holy Spirit or do you seek to be His friend?

The Holy Spirit is a person and not just a power or force that we seek to improve our Christian ministry. Too often, we seek the gifts of the Holy Spirit and do not seek to develop a relationship with the Holy Spirit.

We need to see the Holy Spirit as a person and cultivate a relationship with Him, like we did with the Father and Jesus. We need to remember that we ought to talk to the Holy Spirit and love Him, and not just want the gifts that He can give to us.

Do not seek ONLY after the Holy Spirit's gifts. Rather, be a friend of the Holy Spirit.

Developing a friendship with the Holy Spirit is so important. It’s about connecting on a personal level, not just seeking gifts.

Can you anchor what you've written to God's word? You're right in saying that the Holy Spirit is not just force or power, but a Person. But according to what Scripture?

What does it mean to how we relate with the Holy Spirit that he is God? What does God's word give to us as answer to this question? Do you know?
