Before I Turn In For The Night

I just wanted to say that through the return of today's news thread, I recently discovered that today was the day when Jesus ascended into Heaven. And so the return of the thread that just so happens to be on that same day, is symbolic to me in the sense that pretty soon it will be time for the return of the King!



Matthew 24:36 "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."




And I don't know abou anybody else but I definitely want to be ready when He does decide to come back because I'm determined to go to Heaven and I'm not about to let Satan or anybody else stop me now! :halo



Revelation 20:10 "And the devil, who deceived them was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever." :woot


John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

Acts 1:3 To whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Scripture does say that no one knows when Christ will return. We just need to be prepared as His Bride before hand and be about our Fathers business as being a witness and testifying His name to others as we continue in His good works, Matthew 25:31-46.
