For that matter, it's probably best to avoid all forms of time recording. Days of the week are named after Celtic gods (Friday is Fridge, for example; Thursday is Thor or Thunraz... etc etc.) and Months include many roman gods (January = Janus; June = Juno; March = Mars, and I'm not talking about the candy bar).
And most importantly, don't eat cereal for breakfast! it's named after the Roman goddess Ceres. (There's a really good anime based on her, but I suspect it's not most people's thing.)

Seriously, I do keep in parallel with the Gregorian calendar the sighted (not calculated) Jewish calendar and the Abib for watching the feasts of the Lord, and hours are not needed to do that! :D
