A very cute reply. Did you expect a full and complete reproduction of the Bible in my post? What I posted didn't contradict itself as the creeds of men often do.

Your post are contradicting themselves in this thread. But hey man who am I to argue with your creed?

Let's not make things personal.

IOWs You have no such evidence.
Evidence? There is no need for evidence where simple logic is concerned.

Hey, guess what? I jumped over the moon last night! Please provide the evidence that I didn't.

That's what that was. :lol

Oh no, not you too, WIP!

Help! They're ganging up on me!

I must say, I haven't been a member of this forum for that long, but it my short time here, I've learned a lot.

Concerning the OP, this is an interesting topic. I have never ever in all my years heard of a 1978 Chicago Convention. Then, I come across this off-the-wall OP. So, I look it up on Wikipedia. Sure enough, there is an article titled Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy. They say that you learn something new every day. I guess so.

This document was a big deal. Here is a list of the people signed it.

Evidence: Your friend was an atheist when you two met 11 years ago, four years later after you met he is suddenly preaching salvation in the Bible.

Whose friend? The OP's?

:dunno

Well actually, I was baptized with water when I was a baby,
but I was in denial and confused about who God was during my adult life. :D
I was more of an agnostic than an atheist.

You speak as if baptism with water applied to babies is meaningless. Is it?

No!! Water baptism plants the seed, I was just stubborn and ignorant back then to say the least.
Others might say water baptism is actually the first physical birth. ;)
