Hello to all,
very new to forums, but i do enjoy fellowshipping with other brothers and sisters in Christ. I was saved at age 8, but up until a few years ago, i really thought that i knew and trusted God, but found out that i was totally wrong. I actually was what you call a carnal Christian. I knew how to talk the talk but not walk the walk, which led to my walking away from the Lord. About 7 years ago, i finally decided to surrender fully to the Lord, and true to His Grace and Mercy He restored my righteousness and is teaching me everyday how to walk the walk, and become more like Him. Glory be to God who is slow to anger, and quick to save! And is so wonderfully patient with us all not willing that any of us shall perish. Blessings

Welcome Cturtle,
I am very proud of you and your choice to "stand up and be counted for" and walk away from where ever it was you walked away from in the first place and "Realized" where you should have been walking to instead of where you had walked to and now you are right back in His arms where you do NOT ever have to walk away from again !!
OBTW....wanna go for a walk ? ROFL Welcome and blessings and love in Christ

Hi again dear sister in Christ. We certainly are God's workmanship, and He will continue that work until we are in the very presence of our Lord Jesus. A pastor once said something to the effect that "I'm not what I was, I'm not what I'm going to be, and I am what I am by the grace of God." Thus probably the birth of such a cliché as Steve Harvey uses: "Don't trip; God isn't done with me yet."
It's a pleasure to welcome you to our Christian fellowship in Jesus' name. :wave2

Thank you primrose. It truly is good to be back in the arms of the almighty! And realizing that God poured His love into my heart, and made me a new creation, at the time of my accepting Him as my Lord and Savior. Now i just am able to grab ahold of His wonderful grace, and develop what God has placed in me so very long ago. Blessings!
