Bob's Burgers

I started watching a few episodes. It is hilarious, though a couple of the episodes went into cringe territory, to the point that I stopped watching one right in the middle.

lol Just certain things made me uncomfortable. That doesn't make it bad, it's a subjective thing.
I took a look at other adult cartoons. Most of them are stupid and seem to rely on shock humor. This one is actually funny.

Tina is hormonal which I think is so funny. I don't think its vulgar, and I can't recall it insulting Christianity.

Episode I watched on gay rights and abortion.it wasn't kind to christians. Very subtle.if you watch a lot of tv you will be desensitized to this. I don't so I pick it up.is it every episode? No.but im not into that level of blatant disdain.

Sorry if I offended you guys.
I'm not offended.you asked I gave my reasons.entertainment choices are at beat an exercise in feedING the flesh.I know we have people watching game of thrones.that has nudity in it.that is too far for me.

Ok.

I know that things are certain temptations for some. Nudity doesn't bother me, but I don't lust after it. For some, its a temptation to avoid. However if its excessive I will turn it off. My husband had a problem with nudity, so if we are watching something together I will turn it off.
What do you think about that?

Have you thrown your TV away? :shame

Not everyone has the same idea where to draw the line or where the line should be drawn. Admittedly for myself I am still rather exploring boundaries, but....if no two people can come to an agreement on something, I can't really realistically expect tv or movies or series to perfectly reflect what I think is right. Nor would I want to be in an echo chamber where all I hear is what I agree with.

Actually, I started watching the show because of this thread. I'd not really noticed it before. It's just a funny cartoon aimed at adults in my opinion. Sure it has some content that's not exactly supportive of Christianity, but it doesn't claim to be a Christian show either. My faith is in God isn't really affected by cartoons on TV so it doesn't bother me. Most of it I've seen so far is just plain old funny entertainment.
