I definately would not want to drink or cook with the water that comes out of my faucets.It looks and smells and tastes horrible.I prefer bottled water with reverse osomis purification.It is harder to find.Not all bottled waters are well purified.Some are like drinking tap water.

It depends on where you live. I went to Las Vegas a few years ago, and the tap water there was nasty. Since most people who live there avoid useing the tap water for anything other than washing or maybe brushing their teeth, they have stores there that sell nothing but water. But where I live, the bottled water really is just tap water. We don't put chlorene in our water (which technically would make it bleach).

Not always so... Working at Cobb Mt Spring water for 10+ years... They had a court battle over the use of the term 'spring water" if a bottle says spring water it must meet certain requirements.
Cobbs Spring water bubbled out of the ground about 500 feet up the hill above the plant... was filtered to remove leafs, sand etc.. Was ozonated and in the bottle in about 5 minutes... for the time it bubbled up....
The difference at that time was the use of the words spring water and more to the point NATURAL spring water this was the decade of the 90s . Crystal Geyser under many names was tap water...

We are blessed to have well water out of our tap....

Where I live tap water is as clean as or even more clean than bottled water, so I almost always drink tap water.

We have well water too. Always tastes fresh and clean, and the well has never run dry.

There was an expose on TV a while back about bottled water companies that were doing nothing but running tap water through a sediment filter and marketing it as something really special (at really "special" prices). The only reason they even ran it through a filter was to keep any sediment out that would collect in the bottom of the bottles and make people not want to buy it. The filtering had nothing at all to do with making the water better. It was just another marketing gimmick. I've never trusted any of them since and wont give them my money. Especially when I can get the same thing for free out of the tap, and our tap water here is every bit as good.

You do have to read the labels carefully. A lot of bottled water is merely tap water. The best water one can drink would be reverse osmosis water.

So much of our water and food supply is tainted somehow, that I have taken to asking God to bless it, sanctify it, and make it clean for me to consume, when I am giving thanks.

We largely have little choice about our sustenance nowadays. What they sell is what we have to eat and drink if we want to live. Whole Foods sells better foods than most places, but you almost have to be a zillionaire if you wanted to eat organically consistently.

Yes,I noticed that with bottled water.From the labels it looks like it is just glorified tap water.

I don't know if California's water is still bad but years ago when we went to Disneyland my daughter got sick from the tap water.

I would think so. All the poisons that people put in the ground has to go someplace. I would bet that some of it is ending up in private wells.

I would think that this is almost a certainty, even with the natural filtration of the earth. We live in a very fractured creation. The earth is beautiful, even now, and we have pretty much destroyed it. Can you imagine how awesome this place would be if we had never damaged it? Wow! I bet when Jesus comes back and we're in the millennial reign, that He heals the earth and we will live here as we were supposed to. The food will be better, the fruits and veggies will be bigger, and seriously nutritious, the water will be purified...everything! And yet, even then, it will not be able to be compared to the goodness and glory of the new earth! Praise God! What a future we have to look forward to! (I think the earth is self healing)

Yes, the aquifer can get contaminated.
