Bottled or Tap Water?

round up has been around for well over a decade, close to twenty years.
I'm missing your point. Was it twenty years ago he sprayed the weeds in the pond? I understand you, he and some others are pleased with the result but, you know, when the Asian Carp was imported and loosed into the Mississippi everyone was happy about them cleaning up the mess there, just as happy as people around Lake Conroe were when they were dumped in the lake. In both instances the weeds are gone, the cover where the Bass were fished on Lake Conroe is gone, completely and in Old miss and in Lake Conroe the Carp are now starving the other fish, the game fish out and are taking over.

Just like this stupid disease I have as a result of being sprayed, only time, a lot of it, will tell the truth of the matter. I'm teaching that logic is a good thing and you are teaching against the slow and cautious use of the very thing that is essential in Combat and all other endeavors life tosses at us. And the scriptures teach the principal of wisdom is found in the council of many. And as opposed to following the singular and short term council of one, I have found, even in combat, the knowledge of many is so much better for survival than doing it alone against unproven odds.

I would pray and cautiously observe the long term results your neighbor discovers before deciding he has done a wise thing. It is very good to hop it goes well for him in this matter but with the Green Peace and the Sierra people influencing the governments of the world the way they are, he would do well if nobody found out he did this for a few decades that does not already know.

You know, if I had an old AC system and it leaked, I would not advertise it because a man can end up in jail for a freon leak thee days. The world is in a hurry and with that kind of speed, wisdom is ignored.

Freon as in r22, the epa doesn't bother with indivuals, I know, if it did walmart wouldn't be able to sell r 134 a. that is unlawful to vent, yet how many recharge a leaking system? the county and state and city of he lives in already knew. cops already have been to his home. he got authorization to lawfully do what he is doing. the indian river lagoon is dying, yet with all the city and county employees using round up on parks and lawns and people, that would have come up as the lagoon is dying from this:
1) fresh water release from the lake Okeechobee
2)phosphorous from fertilizer
3) septic tanks
4) sea grass deaths from dredging and other such like from the early 40s till present from construction. the water from the canals that lead into the lagoon are monitored and tested. said pond empties into that system, that is why is said they know if its doing anything
5) dog poop, which is illegal to let that sit and not be picked up as the sepsis in it also kills fish
6) medicines from people have caused cancer in the fish in the sister estuary that empties in the lagoon
massive dolphins deaths have occured

Jason,
I'm sorry but your kicking a dead horse. When Operation Ranch Hand sprayed us with Agents Orange, Blue and White it was government sanction by the Feds but that did not change the fact that it did the damage that began showing up five to twenty years later. And while R22 is still in use legally, R12, the most usable is illegal to even purchase without a license and a recovery system. You are just making my case.

im trained in automotive ac. they cant lawfully go after anyone who charges their system that leaks. that was a change to that act a long time ago. you don't need to be mac certified to work on ac in that r-12? who has a car that has that? so most shops use r-134 and it has that recovery system. you can buy a set of gauges and charge the system at home. I should lay out the stuff I have to do just that and also to evac it. now then the city, county I have worked for have used round up since at least 2003, and before. on the beach, on mainland. how long before that I don't know but they have used it.

my friend is a certified pesticide man. the county knows that, I use round up, I can buy it, in fact my wife just killed a third of the lawn with it to ready it for pavers. you can buy round up easily. r-12? why would you want that gas? its not as efficient as r-134, its been shown that r-134 is more efficient and doesn't eat the components. I have most of the oem parts on my Nissan, it cools faster and while it does have higher head pressures that is easily fixed. trust me , my Nissan has frozen itself on hot august day. again the state and county said my coworker. friend can clean that pond with that stuff. they gave him the authority.

I vent my car when I have too, I have worked in the fleet shop and outside guess where I saw more of the epa? the government fleet shop!

I definately would not want to drink or cook with the water that comes out of my faucets. It looks and smells and tastes horrible.I prefer bottled water with reverse osomis purification. It is harder to find. Not all bottled waters are well purified. Some are like drinking tap water.
I do not have ready access to tank water, so I have installed a reverse-osmosis filter under my kitchen sink. I refuse to drink water that has fluoride in it. About 98% of European countries are fluoride free in their drinking water - and for good reasons. I've written quite a bit on this in letters-to-the-editor and on my homepage:

the city water grid , which I pictured, doesn't use floride either.

Fantastic. Have you seen any of the examples of what ingested fluoride may do to the teeth? Here are a few samples:

fluorosis-comp.gif

Various levels of fluorosis (Fluoride Action Network)

I cannot understand how here in Australia the Australian Dental Association and the Australian Medical Association are such strong advocates with this toxin (industrial waste) that is available in unregulated amounts in our water (unregulated because each of us drinks different amounts of water).

im not on the city water grid, I have county water they use floride. even though my system likely removes fluoride I didn't have it until 2011 and I have been in my home since 2007. I have taken floride additives for my cavities. none of the above happened, in fact one cavity wasn't to be filled and that was good thing. it didn't work on all the cavities I had. so I wont derail this with a fluoride pro or con. I stated what I said just because it is the truth. I don't know why the city did that. it wasn't likely from the that position, the county is twice as large as the city. and both use r and o, the city led the way first then county. I will ask those that know within the city why.

...

Jason's pretty much right, Mr Taylor. they can't jail you for a leak or for working on a leaking system. the gas that is lost into the atmosphere in such incidents is "de-minimis" and not a chargeable offense. To blow the whole charge instead of recovering is a chargeable offense, and a 25K dollar fine.

I've heard people say such things as what you said, and it was the same when the fluorescent light bulbs came out and mercury has to be disposed of properly and so forth. people used to say that you would have to call a haz-mat crew to clean up a broken fluorescent bulb, but it just isn't so.

Recovery of refrigerants is time consuming and many techs are too lazy to get the darn recovery machine out of the truck and use it. Many times, the shop itself will encourage blowing the charge to save time and get to the next call, but don't you do it! use the machine, take the time, and make every reasonable effort to lose as little as possible into the atmosphere, then one is safe from being charged. how do they prove a blown charge anyway?

Well it's from the oil on the ground or the side of the house etc., they'll test it for the presence of refrigerant and charge you. This is a thing to watch out for because people are greedy. Not only is there a 25K dollar fine for the blowing of a charge, but there is a 10K dollar reward for turning in an offender. The homeowner could set you up, or the neighbor. Keep em on the clock and use the machine is my motto. I'll make more money and stay within the law. The next job can wait.

Who would want to use R12 anymore anyway? Last time I checked, it was over 800 for a 30 lb jug of it. R134a is more efficient anyway as jason noted.

I'm totally EPA certified and licensed to work with and buy refrigerants. All this stuff was on the test. It's the same test for automotive.
