Yes, which is what I would consider as inhumane.
I never see them in my neck of the woods.
I have heard of them near blue cypress lake and okechobee
Would be interesting to see one in Okeechobee. Lol.
If they did catch one ,lightseys or pogey's would have it on a menu

My dad lives in Okeechobee. I try to get out there as often as I can. He isn't in good health. I'm in West Palm Beach.
Yeah, I'm thinking about moving soon. Don't really like it here anymore. Too expensive and too many people.

Indian town road . Fil lived near that .
Yep. I have a cousin that lives in Indian town.
Never been there .I used Google Earth to verify that was the beeline .
Something about that fec line I need to research on .it seems abandoned .it goes back to the 40s
It's a very small town. Nothing special. When I get there it just means I'm half way to my destination. Lol.
I used to take canal point, the road that goes around the lake. But then I found 710 (Beeline) was faster.
Conners hwy ,canal point was conners toll road ,southern Blvd taken as us 98 then becomes 441,us;98 .441 heads west around the lake and 98 east . 27 meets them in belle Glade .
In laws have a book on each community on that lake .ghost towns now mostly ,canal point ,okleenta,upthegrove,clewiston ,la belle,bella glade ,kreamer island .
