Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground unto the Lord. ( Cain was "serving" the Lord.)
Abel brought an offering too, and the Lord had respect unto Abel, and to his offering. ( no respect was unto Cain, nor to his offering.) That was sufficient for anger Cain. ( God announced how sin was at Cain's door, and sins desire was Cain, and Cain ruled over sin.

Galatians 4 speaks about that law, ( regarding it as in bonds) and the other covenant ( as free )
The one ( of bonds) was born after the flesh, ( the other as free) was by promise.
The one born after the flesh, persecuted him that was born after the Spirit ( of promise) which occurs now. ( the ones of the flesh are MOCKERS/ who also persecute those of the Spirit.)
The bondwoman was cast out with her son ( the covenant of bonds) so we are children not of the bondwoman, but of the free.
Genesis 21:9 And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.
10 Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

That was the message we heard from the beginning, not as Cain who was of that wicked one ( sin, desired Cain, and Cain ruled over him/over the wicked one.) and killed his brother Abel, because Cains works were evil, and Abel his brothers, were righteous. ( God had respect to Abel and his offering, but had no respect to Cain and to his offering.)
We do not marvel if the world hates us ( as Cain hated his brother, Abel.) we know we have passed from death, unto life, because of loving the brothers. ( not hating them as Cain, who was of that wicked one. Not carnally minded, but Spiritually minded is life and PEACE.)
He that loves not his brother, abides in death. ( who are of the wicked one, who do not do righteousness as Abel, who do not love their brother, as Cain.)
Who hates their brother is a murderer, ( as Cain who hated and murdered his brother Abel.) and no murderer ( no one of the wicked one, who does not do righteousness, and who does not love their brother.) has eternal life abiding in them.

Jude 1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
