Depends on the purpose. If it is sign of dedication of the parents to bring the child up with teachings of God I am find with it. Sometimes called 'christening'. If it's a sign the child has be 'born again' I am not in favor.

My church doesn't teach baptism as sign of salvation for children but to be a sign of the family of God in that God used the circumcised males for that .
