God the Lord Jesus Christ taught these truths.

The Doctrines of Grace are found from the beginning to end in His written word.

God's gracefulness has been written of since Noah found grace.

The day of judgement will determine that.

He will send those who refuse Him, to hell.
But He loves us enough to let each man make the decision on eternal life on our own.

But not all recognize Him as sovereign, and do all they can to ignore Him.

What's that go to do with God being in need of people? God doesn't need people for anything. God may choose to use people for "X" and "Y" but He does not NEED anyone. No one can add to an immutable God.

Depends on the purpose. If it is sign of dedication of the parents to bring the child up with teachings of God I am find with it. Sometimes called 'christening'. If it's a sign the child has be 'born again' I am not in favor.
