Is it OK to have the majority of your day consist of reading the Bible?

I think it is 100% safe, and even recommended! I just want to know what you think.

There's +1 in the title. Why?
This is my additional question: Is it good to have the majority of my life spent on Bible reading?
Probably good too, right?

Becoming immersed in the Word is always a good idea. One of the many benefits of doing this is that you can easily spot false doctrines and bad theology when you hear them.

This is a dichotomy that many people don't realize. They think they must study other religions and beliefs to understand the differences. But if you are well versed (pun intended) in Scripture, you can come to an even better understanding. We as Christians are duty-bound to guard against false teachings, even in our own churches.

Here's how I make time. Whenever I eat the Bible comes with me. It is a time to relax, refresh both physically and spiritually. Maybe less reading and more reflecting about what you read? Just a thought.

Christ knew Scripture and I imagine was reading it, but His example for us is to not be passive, but active. When He started His Ministry He started walking. Not reading. Just sayin :)

It's not so much of the amount you read daily, but what you understand of what you are reading. Always pray first and ask the Holy Spirit teach you of what you are reading. It's not about the quantity, but about the quality of knowledge you gain as you study the word of God.

No

The goal is not just to read the Bible, but to apply its teachings. If you spend all day reading, you may not have time to apply what you learn. Read enough to understand and apply the teachings effectively.

Remember, Jesus did not spend all day reading the Bible but focused on applying its teachings.
