I don't think they ever were able to engineer the MJ plants or seeds (yet). CDB oils are too expensive anyway. But if you remember back a bit a few ago everyone was on meth, now after we went to Afghanistan everyone in the country is on heroin now! The US military openly admits to having troops guard the poppy fields over there. Oh they made up a good sounding excuse why the help protect it (because the population depends on it to live, so closing it down would turn the civilians there against the Marines)...a likely story! Even if so, doesn't mean they had to open the USA market to it and start importing it! It's kind of obvious at this point, the government is one of the biggest drug dealers in the world.
 
What were they even doing there in the first place.

It isn't the dollars that do the work. It's getting what you pay for in attorneys. When one pays for a good attorney, he gets one that does a better job of knowing or researching the law, finding the evidence, and has the ability, skill, and knowledge to present the case and provide the best defense possible. That's why he/she is paid what he/she is. Because he's (she's) good at what he/she does.

There, now you got it. Just drop the paid part. The difference is a good layer vs a not so good lawyer. The better lawyer will be worth more to those who wish to hire him. No different than me in what I do. The better I am at it, the more valuable I become not only to just my company but to anyone that may want to hire me.
 
As a general rule, lawyers can't get people out of something that they did, if there is solid evidence. Lawyers can help prevent innocent people from getting falsely convicted.

Lawyers tend to be very expensive, which can limit the bottom 50%'s ability to defend themselves from bogus charges. The bottom 50% would benefit from less expensive options.

i still dont trust them !! i know of personal numbers of stories hired a lawyer got burnt... from criminal charges the P.A offers plea bargain the lawyer says throw your self on the mercy of the court i can get you a better deal.. 14 years the guy got .seems like the offer was 7 years .been to long.. in a land dispute my sister and her husband lost a case over a section of land .after it was over the lawyer said the other party had a better lawyer.. :eek2

i can agree with part of your post the top portion < lawyers can't get people out of something that they did, if there is solid evidence. > it depends on how the evidence was gathered to be honest as a law officer you just about have be a lawyer . seen solid evidence and they walk but your last statement is so true.. call me skeptic lol

He/she was probably right or the party that lost was in the wrong.

It isn't only law enforcement that finds the evidence. Good lawyers have a team of researchers and that is part of why they are more costly.

nope my sister and her husband had owned this land for years and it had been surveyed . he ended up selling it to the person who took part of his property line

How? The only way money can talk is if there's some exchange going on under the table so-to-speak such as an attorney paying off a judge or jury. In which case, if you know of this and can prove it by preponderance of the evidence you should be filing charges.
 
so to sum it up our judicial system is hard to understand 10 years cold blooded murder vs 20 years for drugs or 10 years probation for hiring someone to kill the husband while on his tractor cutting brush

look this goes on every day and no one in most cases can not prove it.. if you watch the Russia investigation not one has been charged with siding with Russia in the election. perjury they add charges on to that. a white collar crime attorney cost big $$$$. most cases they can,t afford to fight.. with federal they find a way . i compare it to lobbyist here take this trip on our tab.. just remember us :thumbsup

Yes, they have to follow the law in gathering evidence. US courts are courts of law, not courts of justice. Judges are only allowed to rule based on the laws as written.

Private investigators, mock juries, jury selection pros, hiring expert witnesses. It is a team effort by many different specialists.

Joe average can't afford this.
