Can You Say Eagles To The Super Bowl

As a Michigander, I have only to wonder... what's it like to have an NFL franchise? When is the NFL going to recognize Detroit and give us a shot at the league?

The Eagles are hitting on all cylinders, but I don't know... look at those Falcons.

2 Samuel 1:23

"They were swifter than eagles,
they were stronger than lions."

:lol

Seriously, I could see the Eagles going if Vick stays healthy. Whoever his PR rep is, is earning his money. He's saying all the right things, but more importantly for the Eagles, he's doing all the right things. Talk about a career transformation. :o Talk about reinventing yourself!

If he stays health, I believe they have the stuff to get there, but always beware of the Patriots for the grand prize. They just know how to win. The Pats have a by-week this week in Detroit. Key for Philly is going to be @ Dallas and @ Giants back-to-back. I'm not necessarily an Eagles fan, but I will be when they play Dallas. PLEASE-SWEEP-DALLAS!!! :swords

How in the blinking blue blazes did the New York Giants get a 21 point lead in the fourth quarter and then lose by seven points?

They were playing the Philadelphia Eagles, that's how!

DeSean Jackson's a punk! Someone needs to smack him down the next time he pulls this showboat garbage before he crosses the goal line. What a "me" player.

I agree. That moron could have snatched defeat out of the very jaws of victory.

If he hadn't botched the catch, he never would have made that touchdown, which, incidentally, is one of the greatest plays in the history of the NFL.

For those of you who don't know what we're talking about, here's a link to the video:

I watched every minute of that game. I wasn't as shocked as most Giants fans are. You see, as a Yankee fan, I practically expect them to win, but take the defeats graciously. But as a Giants fan who has seen them do the unexpected at times, but blow what seems to be a plus in the win column, I always watch them anticipating them to meltdown and take whatever wins I can get from them each year. :lol

Yesterday just wasn't the day to break their losing streak against the Eagles.

You just don't give up a 21 point lead to your opponent with minutes to go...
Unless you're up against a Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and John Taylor. :D

Dude, unless the Eagles decide to play baseball instead of football, they can NEVER win the World Series! :lol

(sigh) For twenty years, I've been saying "My Eagles are going to the World Series!" Then someone says "You mean the Super Bowl," and I say "You think so, too!"

But nobody on this thread will fall for it.

He was just running out the clock, wasn’t he? Or are you talking about something else?
