Its probably what my dog is thinking everytime I go off to work too. He is over 80lbs now so he looks nothing like in the pic anymore either.
 
Beautiful Shepards....... My real father who was a policeman, had a police dog that was a Silver Germain Shepard named Silver. That dog saved me many times from getting a spanking, he wouldn't let my dad touch me....must have been all those snacks I sneaked to him! :lol Or he may have been grateful that one time when he went to jump our chainlink fence for some cute little girl dog, and as he jumped over it, he caught his family jewels on the top of the fence, and I saw it and ran to him holding him up screaming for someone to help me until my dad could help me lift him up so he could get him/them unattached. From that moment on, he was my dog when dad wasn't at work.

I remember one time after that, my dad told Silver to get out of his chair, and Silver stood up growling and lundge at him, and it took my dad holding him down, and smacking him on the side of his face to get him to quit.....which I remember as a child made me mad cause I felt like he hurt him. Shortly after that, Silver was back in training, and we never got him back via the police dept. Kind of left a hole in my life as a child, and I think of Silver often as a very good friend/dog, and a wonderful childhood playmate, along with my large tortoise Uncle Ramus.
 
dont worry, I talk to john a lot on fb and told him that i was gonna do this, he thought it would hilarious. he can caption my mut cheyenne as she is on fb as well.
