Hallo. My some one explains to me what is the different between Christian and Cationic?

Basically Tradition.

If you want a more detailed talk you must start your thread in the debate section. :thumb

Do you mean "catatonic"? Well, some would say that the answer is: not much. :D

As for Catholic, well, that's another story and best asked in the correct forum.

Welcome, btw. :)

I think you are asking for the difference between Catholic and Protestant.

In very basic terms the Catholic's put emphasis on traditional ceremonies, works based faith, and an allegiance to a central leader (the pope). Protestant's emphasis is on salvation by grace alone, the bible as final authority, and most churches are independent organizations.

No difference Catholics ARE Christian just as protestants ARE Christian. Different denominations do things a little differently, but the core is the same.

Its sketchy, at what point does a religion cease being Christian? The Mormons and Jehovah's false witness follow a false prophet, many Anglicans advocate gay marriage, Catholics hold strong to non-Biblical traditions, exactly where to we draw the line at what is Christian or not. :confused

Avery hard question to answer, but I would have to say when they stop worshiping Jesus as GOD, and start putting their faith in mortal men. Also out right contradiction of GOD's word would definitely be a red flag. Now I don't agree with everything the Catholic church teaches (as evident in many of my posts), but I do think that most of their members are Christian. I would also have to say that in any and every Christina church there are true and false conversions.

I agree. It all comes down the individual. Traditions i do not believe condemn one to hell, but i do believe they are not favored by God. My :twocents

I know Jehovah's false witness and Mormons are not Christians for painfully obvious reasons. :eyebrow

Trust me I agree with you 100% om that! I could write a book about why Mormons are NOT Christian!

Ok, I think the question has been answered well enough.
No bashing in the replies. Thanks all. :thumb
