CF.Net has fewer number of females

K. I see the site is about soccer, but I don't see anything about Mona Lisa?

I suspect there's more males online and in forums etc in general.

Jason is not here yet. he'd tell us why he drives them away - like someone observed. :chin

I dont even know who is man or woman here. Just one body of Christ I guess. I only know a couple from over time or from obvious pics or username.

I even got shamed last month when I said hey brother, and they be like, no its sister, and I be like, who cares we all one in Christ. Lol.
Hey, if all of us can be the bride of Christ, then I think it's okay that all of us can be brothers.

Why is it so? I think it has always been like this. however we have had more of them before.
weirdest experience in a universe where the ratio of women to men is some staggering 5:1 or so.

And of course more women here means more fun and fellowship, but not without the normal headache such presence brings.

Maybe this is the ratio that Jesus had walking with him. :shades
And, I take that as a compliment. :biggrin2

I know, maybe us guys are so charismatic and dynamic that the ladies are so stunned that they are just content in watching us and being totally blown away with our opinions.Silence doesn't mean absence.

A Chat room and things added to the Site brings more women. The Website has to be designed to attack women and whoever planed this one did not have the social needs of women in mind at all.

I am working on a new forum, I have scraped like thee of them already. I am reading into the marketing aspect of things of why some blogs go nuts with followers and have some of the most stupid content posted, and other sites that have great stuff don't attract a lot of women or they don't attract a lot of men.

I am looking at the dynamics of other Christian websites (Most I have been banned from) Why are the women on there?

Women like to be social and like getting to know people. Men like to size each other up and show their strength in something.
Making an icon with doves and hearts titled "Talk crazy about God's Love" then another section with swords making it blue titled "Scriptural battle ground" will get both sexes suddenly interested. The men might trudge off to the battle grounds thinking... battle, battle, must battle, while the women are trudging off thinking, Talking, talking and love, talking and love.
(Hint, Women love chat and video software, love if it messages their phone that is glued to their hand)

People like to be directed on what to do when they come to website or see where they might try to go.
People like to rate things and gain status. More like buttons, dislike buttons, easy to achieve rankings that are not to spread out, the better. Though they provide nothing but the illusion that someone is not wasting their time somewhere with no upgrade status.

The dumbed out effect:
People like to feel they can contribute (Even if they really can't, the illusion should be there in some degree)

An example of the Dumbed out effect would be a post someone made about the devil needing permission from God to get you. A simple enough question, but it really requires a complex answer with lots of scriptures. People are not smart enough to know that what they ask, they are not foundationally prepared to get the full answer. Still, it could have been handled different.

What ended up happening is Me, Childeye and someone else take over into some deep stuff, the rest stop posting at that point. This effect happens a lot here, where the newer believe gets dumbed out of the conversation, not being able to make heads or tails out of what is being talked about.

My two cents

Mike.

*blinkblink* I barely even like IMing, video chats would give me a heart attack lol
