Christ Can Break The Chains That Bind, But Will You Want Them Back?

slavery-irons-1.jpg

Demons seek to enslave us. They first tempt us to sin, and if we give in to their influence they then seek to bring us under bondage, not just to the sins we commit but to themselves as well. Thankfully the answer is Christ, who frequently cast out demons during His earthly ministry. He can break any yoke and grant freedom from any spiritual enslavement. The question however is this: Will we desire to keep the freedom He grants us, or will we return to the bondage we were delivered from?

Jesus warned this could potentially happen, and that those delivered can end up in an even worse state than the first time around if they choose not to seek the Lord to fill them with His Spirit after being cleansed:

43 "When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places seeking rest, and finds none. 44 Then he says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.' And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that man is worse than the first. (Matthew 12:43-45)

This was happening during Peter's time. Some had been delivered from their bondages after turning to Christ, only to turn back as a result of being seduced into heresy. The Gnostics were increasingly infiltrating churches, and despite naming the name of Christ they were like "springs without water," meaning the Holy Spirit was not in them but they were in-dwelt by demonic spirits instead, so waiting around for Spirit-filled teachings to come from their lips was like waiting for rain that was never coming.

17 These are springs without water, and clouds driven by a tempest for whom the gloom of darkness is reserved. 18 For in speaking vain over-exaggerations, they allure through the lusts of the flesh and sexual licentiousness those having almost escaped from the ones living in error. 19 promising them freedom while themselves being slaves of corruption. For by whom anyone has been overcome, by him also he is held in bondage. 20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the recognition of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. 21 For it was better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to have turned from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: "A dog returns to his own vomit," and, "a sow, having been washed, to wallowing in the mire." (2 Peter 2:17-22)

As Peter here stated, some had escaped their bondage by recognizing Christ as Savior only to now be seduced back into it, a claim confirmed by early church writers who attested this was going on during the New Testament era. It had in fact happened to some of the earliest converts to the faith, as was said of Nicolas, mentioned in the book of Acts as being "full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom." At some point he was turned, and became the leader of the Gnostic sect called the Nicolaitans.

The Nicolaitanes are the followers of that Nicolas who was one of the seven first ordained to the diaconate by the apostles. They lead lives of unrestrained indulgence. The character of these men is very plainly pointed out in the Apocalypse of John, as teaching that it is a matter of indifference to practise adultery, and to eat things sacrificed to idols. Wherefore the Word has also spoken of them thus, saying, "But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate." Revelation 2:6 (Ireneaus, Against Heresies, 26:3)

Some victims made it back out and returned to the true faith, yet others became so bound up by guilt and shame that they could no longer make a true commitment to Christ. Others were so bound by their sins that they couldn't part with them even if they wanted to serve Christ:

Such are the words and deeds by which, in our own district of the Rhone, they have deluded many women, who have had their consciences seared as with a hot iron. Some of them, indeed, make a public confession of their sins, but others of them are ashamed to do this. And in a tacit kind of way, despairing of [attaining to] the life of God, they have apostatized altogether, while others hesitate between the two courses, and incur that which is implied in the proverb, "Neither without, nor within," possessing this as the fruit from the seed of the children of gnosis [i.e. the children of "knowledge," falsely so-called]. (Ireneaus, Against Heresies XIII, 7)

All That Glitters

The reason demons succeed at bringing men into bondage is because they use deception. They dupe sinners into falling for what looks good to the eyes, never showing them the ugliness that lies behind the mask. This begins with how they use the physical attractiveness of human beings to incite their victims into receiving thoughts of perversion. I often quote from Harold Pittman in this regard because his testimony is so applicable. After being escorted by angels and shown what actually takes place in the spirit world, he shared this:

The angels told me that I was going to be permitted to see a human being actually being possessed by one of these demons. When we crossed through the dimension wall, we came out in a different room in the same hospital where my body was… In that room were two people, a young man and a young woman… The couple had no idea that we were there, and apparently thought they were completely alone. Standing between them was the most despicable looking of all creatures, of which they were totally unaware. He looked like an overgrown, stuffed green frog that was all out of shape. The man and the woman were talking and laughing as though they had just exchanged a joke. The demon, however, was between them and moving slowly toward the man's face. His every movement was calculated, much as a cat's movement is calculated when he is stalking a little bird. The man could not see him, and did not realize what was about to happen. I was just a few feet from the man, and could not warn him because he could not hear me. I could not communicate to him because I was totally in the spirit. When the demon reached the man's face, suddenly, like a puff of smoke, he disappeared into it, appearing to have penetrated the pores of the skin... As I turned away from the two, the angel began to tell me about the sovereign will of man, and how this demon made himself look beautiful and desirable to this individual. The angel stated that this individual, by his own sovereign will, had openly invited this thing to enter. To the man, the demon looked so desirable and beautiful, but I got to see him for what he truly is - ugly, despicable, and nauseating.(Harold Pittman, Demons: An Eyewitness Account, P.53-56)

The same principle of demons making themselves look attractive to their victims appears in the testimony of a former Satanist high priestess who invited a high ranking demon into herself. At first the demon appeared beautiful, up until the moment he entered her. This testimony also illustrates that once demons take up residence in a human being, they are determined to stay and keep them in spiritual bondage forever.

I drew on the floor with chalk a very large pentagram, then drew a circle around it… carefully I placed a black candle in each corner of the pentagram, then a much larger black candle in the center. All were lit… I asked no questions, but obeyed the high priestess' instructions to the letter. I sat on the floor, staring into the black candle in the center of the pentagram, murmuring, "Oh great Satan, the power and builder and creator of the universe, I beg thee, give me a demon to be the guide and light of my life - to give me all wisdom and knowledge. My beloved, Oh master, grant me my wish!" At that point the high priestess spoke the name Mann-Chan to me. I then said, "Mann-Chan come, you are welcome in my body, I bid thee arise from your hiding place." I took the powders and the herbs and blood and cast them into the boiling kettle. The steam rose and immediately the room was filled with a very foul odor… immediately there was a woosh and a huge flame. As the light died down over the next few seconds, I could see the figure of what appeared to be an incredibly handsome young man. He had coal black hair and piercing black eyes that radiated intelligence. I hurried to my knees beside the pentagram. With a rag, I wiped away the chalk to form a clear pathway through the pentagram. The young man, who was actually the demon Mann-Chan in physical form, stepped through to the outside of the pentagram on the pathway that I made... He told me that he would give me all wisdom and knowledge, he would be my teacher and guide… I agreed, very much awed by his beautiful countenance. He then walked straight into me. But, in the instant before he entered, he changed from the human form to the demon he really was. HIDEOUS! He was naked, his face had changed from beauty to hideous cruelty. The beautiful coal black locks of hair had become dull brown and were course and sparse and stubby like pig bristles. His eyes were incredibly dark and evil, his mouth open to show long, sharp, dirty yellow fangs. He had long arms, and his hands had stubby fingers tipped with long sharply pointed nails. He uttered a horrible hideous loud laugh of triumph as he stepped directly into my body. I screamed out, first at the sight of him, and then at the pain of his entrance. Searing, agonizing pain, such as I had never before experienced. I felt as if my body was on fire…

As the pain died down, Mann-Chan told me that that was a small demonstration of what I would get if I ever disobeyed him, and also let me know that he was there to stay, that nothing, no one could ever make him leave! (Rebecca Brown, He Came To Set The Captives Free, P.44-46, Emphasis theirs).

Some demons likewise sexually target men and women directly in the form of incubus and succubus spirits. They often appear as very attractive human beings, and occultists are sometimes foolish enough to actually attempt to summon them for sex. But what is the price tag for this? I will provide two unrelated accounts to tell the story here. The first is a testimony from a Reddit thread, and while this demon did not manifest visibly to her, she knew it eventually took "human" form because of what she felt physically.

They are indeed real. I had encounters with an Incubus several years ago. I could completely feel it, but could not see it whatsoever. All I could see was the outline of it under my sheets. Every night it would open my bedroom door, and in the form of a snake/serpent I could see it slither under my sheets from the foot of my bed right up to my face. I literally felt its long thin snake tongue touch my face.! Shortly after, it would morph into a much larger human-like form, and proceed to do what they do...you know. I would be physically and emotionally drained the entire next day! It went on for about 3 weeks total. Other completely strange **** happened too, but that’s a whole other thing that I rarely talk about b/c people think I’m crazy. I know it's not though, and I know it/they are real...VERY real! (Reddit, Demons: Does Anyone Else Have Experiences With?)

Sadly, those who do not repent of sexual relationships like this will find out just how evil and abusive these spirits can be when it is too late to escape them. Hell accounts describe these demons again, only in the afterlife they no longer have any reason to hide what their real intentions were. From the testimony of seven Columbian youths who collectively witnessed what Hell was like as children.

As we continued, we saw thousands of people in torment. I noticed a woman that started to shout when she saw Jesus. She screamed, "Lord, please have mercy on me! Take me out of this place!"... A metal plate was embedded in her chest that could not be destroyed by the flames. It read, "I am here for fornication." In the same manner as her sin, in Hell she was forced to fornicate with a very disgusting fat snake. The snake had large thorns all over its body that were about 6-8 inches in length. The snake penetrated her private parts and traveled inside her body up to her throat. When the snake entered her, she started to scream.

She began begging the Lord more intensely to take her out of there, "Lord, I am here for fornication. I have been here for 7 years, since the time I died of AIDS. I had six lovers, and I am here for fornication." In hell, she had to repeat her sin over and over again. She had no rest day or night as she suffered the same way continuously. She tried to extend her hands toward the Lord, but the Lord just told her, "Blanca, it is too late for you. Worms shall be your bed, and worms shall cover you." (Isaiah 14:11) When the Lord said those words, a blanket of fire covered her, and I could no longer see her. (Seven Columbian Youth).

Returning To Vomit

Peter's analogy of a dog returning to his vomit is indeed disgusting, but the ancient proverb he employed here was used on purpose. The actual proverb stated, "As when a dog goes to his own vomit and becomes abominable, so is a fool who in his wickedness returns to his own sin." (Proverbs 26:11 LXX). In other words the man becomes disgusting, and this is because rather than rising above he demonstrates that he is subject to demonic influence that is making him do nauseating and distasteful things. There is indeed a repulsiveness to the demons of sexual perversion in particular. Quoting again from Harold Pittman's account, he was shown the specific class of demon assigned to promote sexual immorality.

From time to time while on the tour, I would notice some demons in such forms and shapes that they were unbelievable. Each time I noticed these demons, they were off to the side, by themselves. Finally, my escorting angels brought me to a group of these odd-looking beings... This group of demons had the most despicable shapes and forms of any in all of Second Heaven. In many cases, the forms of some of them were so repulsive that just to look upon them produced nausea.... I was astounded to learn that these were the creatures who held all the expertise in the area of "perversion." This group of untouchable, despicable, odd-looking spirit beings had been given the important assignment of destroying the morals of modern man.

When a believer returns to sexual immorality, the Lord sees the demons around him and knows the company he is keeping. Instead of perfecting holiness in the fear of God, he is toying with spiritual uncleanness. As Ireneaus stated, he is hesitating between two courses, being "neither without, nor within," and seeking to serve the Lord while still being attached to sin. But so long as he is still playing around with the wrong spiritual company, he is in danger of potentially apostatizing much as the Gnostics did, or at the very least never truly committing his life to the service of the Lord Jesus Christ.

What then is the proper solution? As our Lord's teaching at the beginning of this study suggested, we must fill our "houses" with the Holy Spirit, giving our minds to the word, to worship, and to incessant prayer. As scripture states, "You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You." Some may also need to fast the flesh to weaken the sex drive, but the reward for those who do so will be an eternity spent with Christ in Heaven. As Peter said, an incorruptible inheritance awaits them in Paradise. (1 Peter 1:1-5). But for those who turn back, all they have to look forward to are the pleasures they will experience in this life, for their next life will be filled torment and sufferings, for having never truly wanted to break free from the chains that bound them.

Questions And Applications

1. What came to mind in reading this study. Did anything in particular stand out to you?

2. I read somewhere that demons can be in attendance when masturbating. Do you feel this could potentially relate to the subject matter discussed in this study?

3. Have you ever witnessed someone having demons cast out of them, or played a part in an exorcism being performed?

4. Have you heard of cases where a deliverance did not take, and the victim went back into their sin?

5. Do you know of anyone who has been attacked by an incubus or succubus spirit? Please note: For those who might not believe they exist, keep in mind that there are a number of occultists who do, and as per the link below offer rituals for those foolish enough to want one performed on their behalf.

2. I read somewhere that demons can be in attendance when masturbating. Do you feel this could potentially relate to the subject matter discussed in this study?

Let me answer this one in advance, because I think it's an important question:

I wish I could find that source material because I do believe it, especially when we are viewing pornography. The reason is simple. The object (and yes, that's the right term to use IMO) we are viewing is then used to subconsciously lure us into a type of idolatry. Our hearts and minds are supposed to belong to Him alone, and yet here we are being driven to lust after something else instead. I think demons can be in attendance and doing what they've always done, lead men into forms of idolatry that take our hearts away from God. And this is nothing to mention of the idolatrous themes that often accompany pornography as well, whether intentionally implied in what we are seeing or what's brought to the mind through fantasy.

Just my two cents. I cannot remember the material I read that from, but I do believe it's true.

Have you ever witnessed someone having demons cast out of them, or played a part in an exorcism being performed?

Yes to both.

Every believer should learn to do this and this begins with ourselves and going through deliverance ourselves.

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19

The scriptures use different terms for this process.

Cleansing ourselves is one of those terms.

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 7:1

Unclean spirits that influence us, cause us to become unclean.

We all start out needed to be cleansed.

  • Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor

Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. 2 Timothy 2:19-22

Becoming a vessel of honor is intentional; something we become on purpose.

Our born again spirit can be clean, but we also have a soul and a body. Our body contains sin. When we practice the works of the flesh we sin.

We must learn a new lifestyle as we mature. We must learn new habits because we have become a new creation in Christ.

Here is the Master Key of understanding the Deliverance Protocol:

We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 1 John 5:18

  • but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.

Sin is the door of access that gives the devil the legal right to influence us in a negative way.

Jesus paid the price for us to be free from things like Generational Curses, iniquities, and ungodly soul ties (unholy spiritual bonds of influence) that keep us connected to ungodly relationships.

Amen so true.

The battle is for the mind. The fullness of man’s expression is thought, word, and deed.
The enemy seeks to gain access to us in our thought life. We must learn to keep ourselves by protecting our mind. The way we do this is meditate on His word day and night. By doing this our mind becomes renewed over time and becomes sensitive to intrusive thoughts that are projected in to our mind, our thought stream, to entice us to begin to meditate on the unholy thoughts in our mind.

What we think on we have a desire for. Allowing unholy sights and sounds into our mind is how the enemy seeks to defile us and weaken us to make us vulnerable to his “leading”… leading us in the way of unrighteousness.

Learning to break agreement with unhealthy thought patterns and to develop godly habits of mediating and reading God’s word, as well as praying in the Spirit in which we build ourselves up on our most holy faith is how we strengthen and fortify our inner man to stay strong and vigilante in keeping ourselves so the devil can not touch us.

Questions And Applications

1. What came to mind in reading this study. Did anything in particular stand out to you?
I find myself somewhat nauseous. Demons are a real thing. I don't know how many who claim to "know them" are being "played" or revealing things God wants them to expose? I don't honestly know?
2. I read somewhere that demons can be in attendance when masturbating. Do you feel this could potentially relate to the subject matter discussed in this study?
Masturbation is a product of a combination of our innate biology and our compromised spiritual nature. Paul did not suggest trying to exorcise sexual desire that seemed out of control--rather, he recommended marriage and its associated liberties.

Our compromised spiritual nature, or Sin Nature, is not something that the Cross came to immediately remove. The guilt of it is removed when we choose to live in the New Nature of Christ, even when the Sin Nature remains within us. That is the purpose of Grace.

Those who think that Christ came to immediately eradicate all Sin from our lives are either immature Christians or very idealistic, judgmental Christians. We will live all our lives with some carnal weaknesses. That is why we all have to die.

We all have a "thorn in the flesh." We may not like it. We may wish to have a magic pill to end the problem, or a pet theology that provides us with a "panacea." But in reality, we need to choose "life" every day, and overcome the Sin Inclination.

Being that young people or single Christians cannot simply go out and take a spouse, there has to be some exercise of self-restraint and patience. I don't think that sexual fantasies fall into the category of adultery because they fall short of the actual practice of adultery. But the ideal is to avoid anything that leads to fornication and an unhealthy obsession with sexual indulgences.

Pornography is to be avoided because it is the produce of sinners engaged in the art of seduction. It will increase sexual urges, rather than placate them.
3. Have you ever witnessed someone having demons cast out of them, or played a part in an exorcism being performed?
No, I believe I've seen demon possesssion. The family of the "possessed child" was not Christian. The couple were not married, and the mother had been involved in satanic rituals.

The child regularly threw curses at me--much too young to have that kind of attitude. The public schools did not know what to do with her--maybe 10 years old?
4. Have you heard of cases where a deliverance did not take, and the victim went back into their sin?
No, but I had a married couple who were close friends of mine in the Jesus Movement. They had been Mormons, and had given themselves to ministering to the cults. But the woman became obssessed with her prophetic gift and superior position as a Christian among non-Christians, and surrounded herself with men willing to hear her.

Her husband and she invited into their home a needy woman. And the husband was caught in a relationship with the woman. This destroyed the family.

The woman later came back to the Lord. The man got completely tatooed, hung out with married women, and turned to pornographic poetry writing. He has never returned to Christ, or if he did he is extremely liberal in his beliefs.

I have no idea how real those things are? I think there is a reason the Scriptures do not spend too much time on demonology. But neither does it avoid the subject altogether.

Derek Prince talks a lot about demons. My wife has been listening to him lately, and I've read some of his stuff. I don't know how far to take this?

On my phone but I really like this quote. For me the difference seems to be an increased devotion to prayer (conscious prayer). I used to think if I could dedicate myself to the word continually, but that never happened. What made the difference was a more extensive prayer life. It enables me to focus on God but without having to do a ton of concentrated thinking.

Thanks for the response, Randy. A lot to unpack and respond to, and I’m in a restaurant. I’ll get back to you tomorrow on all this, and thanks again for responding.

2. I read somewhere that demons can be in attendance when masturbating. Do you feel this could potentially relate to the subject matter discussed in this study?
You hear things. Like demons feeding off fear, sadness, negative energies of humans. Because they separated from the Eternal Source of energy, they are always yearning after separating from God. And they feed off of our energy to sate their thirst. So i would believe that demons being present is a reality.
5. Do you know of anyone who has been attacked by an incubus or succubus spirit?
I know a singer who admitted to having relations with a ghost. And she said later a live snake was left on her pillow as a gift. I wouldnt think its unbelievable.

For me the difference seems to be an increased devotion to prayer (conscious prayer).

Absolutely. Praying in the Spirit with intervals of meditation of key passages.

Then a time of worship and adoration… taking that mindset into our day.

It enables me to focus on God but without having to do a ton of concentrated thinking.

Yes. For me, praying in tongues, building my inner man up, is a major key.

From there singing in tongues and worship and exaltation.

I actually have an interpretation of a tongue that I wrote out and it is a Psalm.

I have it framed on my wall.

I’m big about having scripture framed and hanging on the walls of my house.

Also framed Christian Artwork.

Yes. They live in a perpetual state of fear.

The only source of love or “positive energy” that they can feed on is us; humans

Sin gives them the “legal right” to attach themselves (touch) to us.

They are cunning in their ways of enticing us and using our human desires against us in these things.

But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.
James 1:14

1. What came to mind in reading this study. Did anything in particular stand out to you?
Yes. One of the biggest issues of a demon being removed from a person is the sense of loss. They feel abandoned. This causes confusion, particularly when that demon has been in a person's life for a very long time. There needs to be a filling up of the space that has been left empty. This can be achieved through reading the word, prayer, worship and praise, and fellowship with other believers.

3. Have you ever witnessed someone having demons cast out of them, or played a part in an exorcism being performed?
Many times.

4. Have you heard of cases where a deliverance did not take, and the victim went back into their sin?
Yes, the person was not willing to forgive. Forgiveness is a key element to deliverance.

5. Do you know of anyone who has been attacked by an incubus or succubus spirit? Please note: For those who might not believe they exist, keep in mind that there are a number of occultists who do, and as per the link below offer rituals for those foolish enough to want one performed on their behalf.
Yes, I have seen what an incubus looks like. This particular one was slim, medium height with long, pointy hair that stuck straight up like a troll doll, and he had rows and rows of teeth that jutted out of his mouth like a piranha.

So true and very insightful.

The “personality” that the person has identified with their whole life is not even their own, but that of a demon.

Yes for sure, occupying that portion of their soul before more restoration takes place is best seen as foreshadowed from the Old Testament.

Taking the promised land.

Subduing and having dominion.

It’s one thing to subdue and overcome the enemy and dispossess him from our life, it’s another thing altogether to allow that character and nature of Christ to be formed in us.

And the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you little by little; you will be unable to destroy them at once, lest the beasts of the field become too numerous for you. Deuteronomy 7:22

When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Matthew 12:43-45

It’s best to teach people who are going through deliverance to begin to develop what I call Spirit led habits (sowing to the Spirit) to allow the new nature to develope and mature in us.

Yes, the person was not willing to forgive. Forgiveness is a key element to deliverance.

:salute

Yes ma’am it is.

Because as long as we hold unforgiveness our sins won’t be forgiven and the enemy has a legal right to “touch” us; access us.

I know a singer who admitted to having relations with a ghost. And she said later a live snake was left on her pillow as a gift. I wouldnt think its unbelievable.

What singer was this, Brandon? Someone local or more widely known?

I will reiterate a little on this one. A young man rang me after I cast out the demons of martial arts from him. These demons were present in him since childhood. He rang one day to tell me how strange he felt and how lonely. Like his best friends disappeared. I told him that it's because those demons had been removed and now he had to fill his life up with good and godly things. Those demons gave him a lot of power. I had seen him just put out his hand towards another person, and they flew backward without being touched physically. He was a legend at high school, with many young men trying to fight him, but he really wasn't interested. This constant pressure was because he had beaten a martial arts teacher (adult) who taught an after-school program. Right now he can still be tempted by these demons, but he does not engage in anything to do with martial arts and has removed everything in his home associated with it.

3. Have you ever witnessed someone having demons cast out of them, or played a part in an exorcism being performed?
One time a christian woman came over with her son. He was slithering around the floor in my lounge like a snake. He had already been to one of the local pastor's houses, surrounded by their team, but they were unable to cast that demon out. My friend and I had to firstly, find out how this spirit got in. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we asked those involved to ask him to forgive them. Then we commanded that snake spirit to go down, and we talked to the boy, giving him clear instructions to resist those demons. When we found the doorway, we were able to cast that demon out. He has been following the Lord ever since, with no more demons manifesting...

Another time a woman rang me at 3am saying that her house was surrounded by demons. She could hear them talking and laughing. She was terrified with fear. I knew that this woman was bipolar, but those demons were not any less real. Guided by the Holy Spirit, I asked her to put the phone out in front of her on speakerphone, which she did. Then I commanded those demons in her house and on her property to flee in Jesus name, using the word of God like a sword. After some time, she told me that they had gone, and she went back to sleep. :agreedx2

One time at an Aglow meeting, I was asked to cast out a demon from a woman in that service because others there were not able to cast out whatever was in her. I came up to her, and she was on the ground writhing in pain. I laid my hands on her and thanked the Lord for his mighty work and left her with the Holy Spirit. Other people came over to try to deal with those demons, but I told them to leave her alone because the Holy Spirit is doing a mighty work in her. (not a believer, a witch). A week later, a friend saw her in another Aglow meeting, sound-minded and glorifying God.

I met a woman on a Christian forum like this one. She rang me from another country. She was feeling very low and depressed after joining a Christian ministry school but was unable to tell me why. I asked when this feeling of depression came over her, and we were able to pinpoint when that spirit came in. It had to do with some spoken words that another student spoke over her, suggesting that she should not be there because she was not qualified or something similar. After leading her in a prayer of forgiveness (forgiving people for holding anything against them), she began to manifest through the phone, and I could hear her vomiting; then we were able to command that spirit of depression to flee from her in Jesus name. She was amazed and could not believe how a small thing like a spoken word could be so debilitating. She is doing well today and in ministry.

I could go on, but I won't. Blessings and peace.

Oh I might do one more because I like this one.
One night a woman came to my house desperate because her daughter's friend was in danger and her unborn baby had stopped moving because this friend's boyfriend was a Satanist and cast a spell over the unborn child so that it would die. So I went with her to the friend's house. She was heavily pregnant and told me her story. She had 2 other children and the one in her belly to a Satanist guy who was in jail. He had just come out but was wanted by the police again. He was planning to kill her and their unborn child. She did not know where he was at this time.

I laid hands on this unborn baby, who had not moved for almost a week, and led by the Holy Spirit, I broke off any curses and asked the Lord for healing. Then the baby gave me a huge kick. Lol! After that we prayed for protection over her and her family, and I left.

I found out later that the guy came back but was so tired he fell asleep while she and her kids were out. They came back to find him sleeping in her house. Then they called the police. He did not wake up until the police arrived. Glory!
