it is really a night mare

I wasn't dreaming about earthquakes and traffic. My dream was about the ocean, tall trees, fresh fruits, Rice-A- Roni, and the Mama's and Papa's. It was a very pleasant dream, kinda like Santa Rosa or maybe Eureka.

Twice I departed the USA via California and twice reentered there. I think of all the hate and spit in our faces when I think of California. Beauty or the lack there of haqs so much to do with the people and people can even make Heaven ugly.

I was in during the Cuban crisis, but received basic training at Fort Jackson S.C. There, some merchants had signs in their stores, " No Military allowed". I understand that it is not the same level of hatred as you experienced, but it was hatred, non the less. If there was anything that could change your experience, I would that you will experience it, if not, then know this, that Jesus suffered persecution also, and he was crucified. It is my belief that those!!!! that avoided the draft by leaving the country will receive a just recompense for not obeying God by serving their country, as God has commanded.

I don't watch movies with J. F. I know that we are to forgive, but she has never apologized to the American people for her trip Viet Nam. I pray that she has asked for forgiveness from God.

If I HAVE SAID IT, THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE TO THIS COUNTRY.

I sat on the Runway with my chopper packed for shipment to Cuba, waiting for the C-130s to come get us during that incident. Except for watching my men die in Vietnam when we were not allowed to end that stupis conflict, I was a Professional Soldier. When I got out I was approached to go to Nigeria and war for them but I had had to much. My outfit was and still is the most decorated Army Aviation Battalion in the world and yep, that includes our Air Force. We lost men at a 3.5 per week rate and I got to where I could block the memory of anybody in a moment. All I had to do was open my ever present bottle of rum and go to sleep.

I was not ready for it when that hippy spit in my face and he, likely never spit on another soldier with about 30 hours out of combat.

I tdy'ed at Fort Benning shortly after the Cuban crisis, before Nam was escalated. Our whole company was living in duce and 1/2's. Tanks any all our equipment was loaded on flat car trains and we were on 2 hour alert. Was never called back in. I had several friends that lost their lives over there. Never liked hippies from the start.
