Anyone here play chess?

Are any Christians against the idea of playing chess? If so, why?

I love chess. I find it relaxing, believe it or not. It's a game of pure strategy. What could be more fun than watching one man's wits against another? Nothing...that's what.

Yes I really enjoy it but I havn't played it in many years

I played it a LOT in the last 70's and early 80's. I was in a Ham radio club that played it over the air - we were a local group and not on Shortwave radio but on a local VHF frequency.

Primarily, there were five of us involved, due to the expertise of one guy, we all became quite good!
